They paid the ultimate sacrifice for defending what the U.S. flag represents.
Maybe that doesn't make sense to you but those of us who have served understand it.

If the flag stands for freedom, then what about the Government taking away your freedoms? Isn't that akin to the Government metaphorically burning (or at least blaspheming) the flag? I suppose that committing the blasphemy of flag burning whilst wearing a Trump or Hillary mask might be needed to get the point across?

Perfectly fair, I think the reasoning behind the protest action is question is important to the discussion. The US is a very nationalistic country. That is why I do not find it terribly surprising to see push back when these protests occur.

Yes, it does seem that way. The whole 'civic religion' thing. I think most people in the UK would be bothered much more than me by the burning of the British flag, or that of their respective subdivision, than I would though.

Flag burning is a form of protest, which is allowed under free speech. He wants to abridge free speech to suit his personal sensibilities.

If no one has respect for the laws, then they should be deported eventhough that if they were citizens. Exile them to another country like Mexico. But I heard a lot of people claiming that they wants to move to Canada, but some Canadians doesn't want them to come. But why has none of them have said that they will move to Mexico? But if they refuse to be exiled, then shoot them.

I think that they need a permit and a proper area to burn it. And if they burn anything on a no burn day, then that is an another criminal offense. And so if they doesn't respect the laws of the land, then exile them.

The USSC has ruled that for misdemeanors, government can waive the right to a jury trial (Petty Offense Doctrine). The accused can be tried by an appointed (rather than elected) judge. In a climate of hyper-patriotism, there's potential for abuse by politicians.

Not really. I generally refrain from making it about the person. It's a policy we disagree on, and as others have said, won't go over well in a place where freedom (based on Amendment #1) is cherished. Surely he can try to make it a policy, and surely people will continue to burn flags as an act of freedom, which others will find disheartening or offensive.

The nation is divided down very understandable lines and if by burning the flag in public incites a reaction that is not conducive to order could not the person burning the flag be held responsible?
