Of course. If what I say does not speak to you and you doubt it that is your reality. I respect that. I have done what I said in that last part of my statement and sought God's answer, I have received His answer. I know that He exists. I also know that this answer came to me and I cannot use it to prove anything to anyone who does not wish to believe what I say. And I think wise persons would do their own inquiry, it is a sure way to find out, if one wants to actually find out and obtain real proof. Proof from God is the ONLY real proof.
I try to make a distinction between matters of opinion and matters of fact. Reality is a question of fact, not of opinion.
For example, I think that tomatoes are nasty little fruits. That is my opinion. That is NOT reality.
But I also allow that you might find tomatoes delightful and refreshing. many people do. That is why my view is an *opinion* and not a fact. It matters to me when I go out with people who want to eat bruschetta, but it is NOT reality.
On the other side, we can ALL see the sun. We know it is there. it is not simply my opinion that it is there: it is a fact.
More complicated: I know electrons exist. I know this because of a host of experiments and observations that have been done and can be repeated to give the same results. We have technology based on them existing and we can measure their properties in a number of ways.Their existence is a fact.
On the other hand, I *believe* it is very likely that life exists in other places in the universe. I do NOT know this, but it is something that, given what I have learned, seems likely. I have an *opinion* about this. It is NOT knowledge.
You had some experiences that you attribute to a deity. I am not going to deny those experiences. I *am* going to question the validity of your interpretation of those experiences. You say you *know* they are from God. But *how* do you know they are from God? I claim there is no way to know that. In fact, given that they are not public and repeatable, the interpretation is NOT fact, it is *opinion*. It is like my dislike of tomatoes: important for the person with the opinion, but NOT an aspect of reality.
At least, that's how I see it.
PS: I have also done my investigations, including the *one* method claimed in the Bible to be a sure-fire way to find God. I found nothing except me talking to myself.
