Its really weird how people lose their intelligence when in a crowd? frightening when a crowd becomes a mob.

1) It's not on ground zero. It's at least two blocks away.

2) While I understand your position if you do that and compromise to these bigots when will it stop? When will they be told "no"? When will Muslim's be able to have the same rights as the Christian's and Jews with the first amendment to practice their religion and peacefully assemble? And it's not just in NYC where this is happening. Even here in TN in Murfessboro a real mosque got the okay to build and people protested. In my town a couple of yrs ago one got attacked by thankfully only bricks and I don't think anyone got hurt.

3) Your last points are right on.

[sarcasm] Well, since you are free to be any religion you want in America as long as it is Christian, obviously right after they accept jesus christ as their personal savior and repent of their ungodly ways like not eating bacon and pork chops [/sarcasm]

Right, Jon Stewart did a pretty funny bit about it on his show. Man, he is hilarious!

And last night too the Assaf guy did a bit. Pretty good. Haha. Oh and I just heard on a podcast of a liberal radio show I listen to (no commie radio) that someone pointed out a strip club is right across from "ground zero." Anyone here in the area or been there know if that's true?

Here's how it looks from Taiwan:

Sadly it's seeming that way because of this loud vocal group. I haven't seen any national poll on this issue. Has anyone else? I'm willing to bet they're the minority which is why they're screaming so loud. Usually how it works.

Even though it's not a mosque. It's just a community center that is funded by Muslim's. Like how the YMCA isn't a church. And it turns out the man who is helping to fund this is invested by 7% to Fox News! LOL!!

Please tell me you have a source for this. It's the funniest thing I've heard this week.

Would that be The Young Turks you were listening to? Just curious. :)

There are several "adult entertainment" venues about the same distance away from the proposed center. That is what really shows the hypocrisy of the arguments that Ground Zero is "sacred" or "holy" ground. Perfectly ok to put dollar bills in a g-string, watch a porn in a private booth, or buy a dildo, but have prayers, meetings and fellowship honoring Allah? Blasphemy that.

Lol I know. So sad. I'm sure they saw those buildings too around and probably went to the site. I did post a new thread that tells that there are Muslim's buried under the WTC. Now that will make their heads explode.

Its not that its sacred ground. Its that the 3000 people killed in the terrorist attacks were killed by radical muslims. That kindof makes it a tender spot building anything muslim related by it. Imagine 3000 citizens of Brazil were killed by radical Christians they wouldnt want a church close to that spot.

Ooh, you found one of my favourites! I love that video. I only wish our own politicians were willing to be violent themselves instead of telling the rest of us to go overseas and be violent on their behalf.

You haven't seen the NY legislation at work, have you?

all you need is popcorn and a beer and you're set for the greatest entertainment in the world

And how many Muslim's died on that day? They were victims too. And there's even a grave of Muslim's under the WTC. I think it's assumption because they're African graves and Islam was quite popular with them. Even today in Africa Islam is growing. If you go to the thread I made on this you can also see that the design of the WTC was influenced by Islam. More head exploding.

It doesnt matter what races died that day. Are you suggesting that we should divide up the races/nationality/religion, and decide who had the most deaths? People were killed by radical muslims, so you shouldnt put up a mosque there.

imo, if this Mosque was being built by a peaceful, loving, tolerant group - as some say that it is... a loving group of people would not build there. 2 blocks from ground 0? I think it is not two blocks away, but on ground 0, as the previous building was damaged during the attack - that makes it part of the attack site.
