Unbridled Capitalism is self-destructive

The value of labor under capitalism is determined by it's ability to generate a profitable return to the capital investor. So a job that is essential to society, but does not retum a big profit to the investor class, is deemed a "low value" job, and pays little. This is a fundamentally anti-social system of valuation and reward that harms any society that engages in it.

And what does the money in the bank do?
Sit there is stacks, "stockpiled"?
Money exists to circulate.
It was not invented to be in the pockets of very few oligarchs.
Otherwise (and that's the point of my thread) I don't see why people should make children, since this world is meant to be ruled and owned by very few people. I mean...only the wealthy should make them.

You really really think people with money stockpile it?

What does "stockpile" even mean?

Stacks of cash in a hidden safe?
It's difficult to explain money, capital, & investment
to those who have none. Might as well try to
teach a fish to ride a bicycle.

People work because they need money,
even if their best work is of low value.
This should be obvious.

It would depend on whether it's truly "work of low value." Work only has low value until we find that no one wants to do it anymore (or the workers might form unions and go on strike demanding higher wages). So, the employers have to change their perceptions and consider the work to be of higher value than they actually believed - or find some other solution, such as bringing undocumented workers to work under the table. Or they can outsource their operations to countries where workers have no rights. That will allow them to continue embracing the illusion of "low value" and "high value" work.
