I ran thru this thread.....did anyone say....?
There could be a snap back effect.
The sudden rise of temperature melts the glacier and polar ice.
This slows the water flow of the ocean.
The displacement of heat performed by the flow deteriorates.
The water vapor in the atmosphere and the lack of flow in ocean current then shield the Earth from the sunlight.
The surface could then quick chill.
The Earth would turn into a snowball.
We wouldn't live long enough to see the full effect.
But I did see it mentioned on a science program.....
The Earth was only 7degrees cooler when New York was under an mile of ice.
In the previous century the green house gases raised the temperature by 3degrees in less than 50years.
At his rate, the Sahara will continue to grow 1mile every year.
The tropical zone will increase north and south 1mile every year.
Many coastal major cities will be flooded before I die.
