What are you playing?

Ar Tonelico II. I love this game.

I need to correct this post. I really love this game.

I quite enjoy how I actually get to make decisions that radically affect the plot of the game (different skills, items, missions, cutscenes, and so forth), rather than decisions that go like this:

Inventor: I am missing Item X, and I need it to make Object Y. I think you could get this item for me.
Inventor: Do you want to help me or not?
Me: No.
Inventor: Sure you do.
Inventor: Do you want to help me or not?
Me: No.
Inventor: Sure you do.
Inventor: Do you want to help me or not?
Me: No.
Inventor: Sure you do.
Inventor: Do you want to help me or not?
Me: No.
Inventor: Sure you do.
Inventor: Do you want to help me or not?
Me: No.
Inventor: Sure you do.
Inventor: Do you want to help me or not?
Me: *sigh* I'm not going to be able to leave otherwise.
Me: Yes.
Inventor: Splendid! It's been decided. You're so helpful, friendly and courteous.

If I am playing a game where I am given the chance to make decisions, let them count.

I know this is the "What Are You Playing" thread but mrscardero and I were going to my father’s house yesterday and we almost purchased House Of The Dead: Overkill for the Wii. I was a bit surprised at mrscardero’s enthusiasm to buy the WIi gun accessories if we bought the game because she is a little squeamish about any kind of shooters. The game got rave reviews but upon watching IGN’s video review, I discovered it was a rail shooter and that the experience was only about 4 hours long. Though a rail shooter would be right up my pop-pop’s alley (I personally dislike rail shooters), I didn’t think the $50 price tag would warrant any replay. Upon previewing a few more video clips, I decided that this will eventually be a title worth waiting for when it drops down in price. If anything just to see the expression on mrscardero’s face when we enter the circus stage and she encounters her first zombie clown. Shhhh!-don’t anyone tell her.

House of the dead 2 and 3 were also released for the wii, in one package. It's a direct copy, so the graphics and sounds are old, but it is cheap. You could let her play for a few hours and if she is like me, the game will go in the closet and you won't even need to buy the new one anymore.

And I bought the game because of 'the old days' and didn't even like it anymore :p

I just picked up Dawn of War 2 for the PC because my brother wants to get some online action going. Just started the campaign mode last night so I can't say what I think of it yet.

You got to send it in to Microsoft themself.

BB is your 360 an Elite or Pro?

Pro.. but the story gets worse.. After taking out all cables and reattaching them it works again (I thought the 3 rings were supposed to end it all)
I could play exactly one level of a game and it freezes.. over and over again..

Now all of a sudden, the 360 no longer has warranty as it is no longer the red ring error..

That sucks. I do know that the Elite are more prone to the RRoD then the Pro. Maybe it's because I got a newer gen. 360(got mine in 2007)

I managed to get a few more times the rrod. Stupid thing is that it is not constant.. Sometimes I get the lockup, sometimes the ring..

I will just send it in for RRoD repair and see what they can find..

I got mine in 2007 as well, december 2007, so be aware ;)

Well I had the freeze-ups before, though the game it happen on where known for that. But loading it to me harddrive made it work better. But we'll see if I get the RRoD(though I haven't played in awhile)

Uh, 'cause it's an amazing game!

Dug up my old PS1 stealth games like MGS 1, Tenchu and Siren (ok, Siren is a PS2 game but it's still old)... I'm feeling nostalgic.

There would be a few PS1 games I would like to play but never got the chance to, but to buy them secondhand is too smegging expensive.
