Citizen Mod
How are you finding "Ar Tonelico II", Cardero?
I am sort of on video game hiatus. No watching movies or playing video games until the 2009/2010 Mod Squad season is over. Since June I have been trying to get two episodes under my belt by the month of September. I want to stay ahead of the schedule so I can spend as much time on the artwork as I can.

Ar Tonelico II. I love this game.
That is why when you wrote about how great the experience was I had to pipe in. I did listen to the soundtrack but I cannot commit to starting any new console games right now, my focus has to be on the new Mod Squad comic.cardero responded: Sure, rub my face in it! Did you get the soundtrack?
I am trying to finish up Final Fantasy; Crystal Chronicles (GameCube) with mrscardero but this has to be played on our days off which only amounts to about 18 hours a month (we are close to the end and it will probably take the next 18 hours to finish). We have a few other two player experiences lined up (Gauntlet: Legends (PS1), Hunter: The Reckoning (GameCube) Little Big Planet for the PS3) but I will probably discourage this in favor of her concentrating on the comic. She has just as much on her plate as I do learning and mastering Adobe Photoshop and utilizing the new Wacom Drawing Tablet.
Surprisingly, my father has also expressed an interest in continuing the Medal of Honor series box set that I gave him but that only amounts to about one visit a month. After the ordeal of practically walking him through Medal of Honor; Rising Sun, I can assure you that this interest is one-sided. I am wishful that accompanying him through the other two games will offer my father the ability to master the PS2 analog control so that he can accomplish other FPS by himself but that interest and ability should prompt him to practice on the single player experience and not to rely on Rizza as a seeing-eye dog (we both suspect there is problems with his eye sight).
RF member Ralph C. has also expressed an interest in the Lego Batman series and I tried to get mrscardero to go through the series with him but I guess it will be my responsibility to see it through. This also amounts to one visit a month but can you imagine? RF member Ralph C solving and accomplishing his first video game, the possibilities abound!
And if all this doesnt convince you that I am on video game hiatus, I have gone portable, designating most of my video gaming to DragonQuest IV on the Nintendo DS which I play for an hour a day in closets and bathrooms when no one is looking. The opportunity to go portable allows me to keep my foot in the video gaming door, to keep my mind occupied on those long car trips (to my fathers house) or those moments where I find myself waiting (like at Newburgh Park Motors when my car is getting an oil change).
But Ar Tonelico II; Melody Of MetaFalica? Im probably looking at February/March of 2010 to be able to give this experience my full attention (and its killing me).
