What came before the Big Bang?

Descartes was referring to his temporal existence as an ego in time and space;

Yeshu was referring to his eternal egoless being beyond time and space.

They're two completely different statements. You make them seem identical.

Well...'you' might think of 'your' existence as different compared to others....
(there's that duality problem of your)

I would like to share an existence with the angelic.
They might hesitate.....but I hope not.

Shallow denial noted.

I'm not denying anything; You said you wanted to interact with the angels. I am only asking you 'what angels'? You have either had some direct experience with them, or they are merely an idea in your head. Which is it?

And you don't believe in the after life.....
So of course you have no sense of hierarchy.

Dust it shall be...

I never said I did not believe in angels, but you did. What is the basis for your belief?
Direct experience, or merely a mental concoction?

Why do you keep avoiding the question?

So yours is merely a BELIEF, and not an EXPERIENCE of 'hierarchy'.

Then the real question is not that you believe it, but why. I wonder if you even have a clue.

Logic.....do you have a clue?

In the scheme of superlatives....I do not consider myself top of the line life form.

Neither do I believe nothing stands between me and heaven.
I suspect the peace of heaven is guarded.

And since there is hierarchy in this life....so too the next.

Logic.....do you have a clue?

The question is not applicable to me. I meant, do you have a clue as to why you believe as you do?

I doubt if heaven would allow entry to a nun seducer.

There is no hierarchy. All life forms are interdependent, not dominant one over the other. Without blue-green algae photosynthesizing, we die.

sounds like you got lost in 'yourself'.

Rather than continue on in your ridiculous circular scenarios, let's just end this conversation by stating the obvious:

Your 'belief' in an afterlife is based on an unfounded fear of the grave; your ego wants to live forever so it can receive adulation forever. Very shallow.

I think you need to experience ego-death now so that when physical death comes, all fear will have been conquered, and you face death fearlessly with an open heart and mind, actually embracing it as liberation.

When dying, just die. Don't make it more than what it is. Then it's over.

Nay.

We all die.
Some continue after death.
I suspect our pronouncements are what makes the difference.

If an angel stands guard over me in my last hour...I am blessed.

If I have spent my life making denial....that won't happen.

You know nothing of angels nor afterlife, yet you want to foolishly act as if you will experience them upon death. You don't even know what your motives are, do you?

Motive?....the will to live?

Granted by God.....installed deep in the soul.

Ask anyone who has suffered a near death experience.

The fear is lessened.
The desire to continue is increased.

Most of them tell me they don't even dream. Just darkness, they wake up later like time was missing. Some dream, see bright tunnels, probably the bright light from the hospital bed as doctors try and revive them.

That's just your biological survival mechanism.

What is your rationale for belief in an afterlife?

Are you sure you're not confusing biological survival with the notion of an afterlife?

Nay...not at all.

Spirit is forever.

Of course the Spirit of God is unique.
Seems He was there before the 'bang'.
