Quran is the Book of Hate against all non-Muslims!

have ever met a muslim?

would you say the same thing about christianity...or did you already forget history?

word of advice,
when making an extraordinary claim like that, please have something to back it up, otherwise it's hard to take you seriously?

Before claiming this please answer my question.

Why does the bible contain 842 violent passages while the Quran only has 333?

Wouldnt the bible be considered a book of hate against all non-christians?

Actually it would be all non Jews, but that is not the case either.

While we are on the subject, does anyone recommend a good translation of the Quran that we could read? I really want to read it, but the translation can make a big difference.

zakir naik is definitely a charlatan resting his faith in islam on pseduoscientific "evidence". if you notice pretty much all of his videos are in front of muslim audiences,i don't think i've ever seen him debate in a balanced academic setting.at least shabir ally has the guts to debate in front of non muslims.

What's funny is both books advocate the same exact things but both of them try to desperately contradict the other because admitting one is right would invalidate the other. There is no proof whatsoever for either. They both quote the old testament and personal faith, etc without any proof.

I definitely do not believe the Quran to be God's words or what God is trying to tell us.

The Quran wasn't "sent" to you or the Jews rather to the Arabs....?

Remember, Jews feel the same way about the NT.

I believe it is just another false book written by a false prophet.

This is just what the Jews believe concerning the NT

That said, it probably does contain some wisdom in it but it also contains some stuff in it that is false.

So does your bible....

For example, it denies the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus.

Considering what type of Messiah Jews were waiting for it appears Yeshua, as described in the NT, failed to fit the bill.

I personally like The Koran Interpreted: A Translation (A J Arberry). He was a very knowledgeable (NON-Muslim) linguist/Arabist/Scholar and wrote many other works. His version was translated directly from the (Classical Arabic) and remains one of the best.

I just remembered something when I was responding to another post:

I'm sure everybody remembers a few years back when that tsunami hit southeast Asia the day after Christmas... Well, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints immediately responded to the disaster by sending humanitarian aid to the stricken area. The aid included food, clothing, medical supplies, hygiene kits and copies of the Qur'an, since we knew that the area was largely Muslim and the people would have lost their sacred scriptures in the flooding. I guess we must at least recognize that it has some value to a lot of people and respect their belief in it.

But, Bible is Bible.

Not sure what you mean. I was programed by the christians all my life and was a hard bible thumber and still am. When I read the bible I hear the voice of GOD. It is His Word, but much of its Truth is being lost in this world, just as it was planned to be that way. The Truth is far from what the christian churches are teaching about Jesus. The Qur'an has the same voice of GOD, it is His Word and a warning for and to the christians that they have gone astray with understanding the relationship between Jesus and the Word of GOD.

GOD = HIS WORD and HIS SPIRT

Jesus is the Messiah. GOD instructs us through His WORD and His SPIRIT, and He shows us Himself through His creation, which is all the natural wonders of this universe. Jesus is how GOD gave the first part and the second part of His WORD to humanity. The third and final part of GODs WORD was given out by Muhammad. But just as the jews refuse the Gospel, the christians refuse the Qur'an, but the muslims are falling astray also. They are falling into the same trap. They idolize Muhammad, just as the christian idolize Muhammad, as the jews idolized their heritage of Abraham.

All three of the Abrahamic religions have gone astray. What can GOD do or show these people that will ever let them find Him. Praise be to the naturalist who can find GOD by observing only the handiwork of His universe. Or lucky for the non-beleivers who have not chosen any god, for their tanks are still full because they have not spent unwisely to buy into false gospels.

personally I don't Idiolize the messanger Muhammad (pbuh) .however I do respect him as a messenger.

but I think some muslims exaggerate in loving Muhammad (pbuh) in a way that it may portraite an image that they look like they idiolize him.

Since we are on translations of the Qur'an, I love Pickthall's the best: Holy Quran (Pickthall)

He was a British convert to Islam, and one of the earliest. He translated the Qur'an in the language dignified as the language in the Book of Mormon or the Bible. :)

"Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The similitude of His light is as a niche wherein is a lamp. The lamp is in a glass. The glass is as it were a shining star. (This lamp is) kindled from a blessed tree, an olive neither of the East nor of the West, whose oil would almost glow forth (of itself) though no fire touched it. Light upon light. Allah guideth unto His light whom He will. And Allah speaketh to mankind in allegories, for Allah is Knower of all things."
-- Surah An-Nur, 24:35

The Yusuf Ali and Arberry translations are also excellent! Of course, Pickthall's would be difficult to access if one is not learned in archaic English. But if I were to read the Bible, the Book of Mormon, the Baha'i Scriptures and the Qur'an, one would have to access archaic English in order to allow the beauty of the language and inspiration to flourish...

Besides being a historical personage of importance, Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) also represents metaphysically the Unity of "man as such" and "God as such". This is the pinnacle of the latent capabilities of man, whilst remaining man how to achieve Union with the divinity. This capability is hidden inside every one, there is a Muhammad within all of us in that sense. Hence the Quran says, "And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds." (21:107).

It is this capability, this possibility of fusion which is really appreciated by men of knowledge. Just superficial idolization is not a useful thing.
