I believe If this were true no-one would be saved.

I believe Jesus saved me and millions of others.

I believe there is no such thing. There are Christians who have been saved from those things and they will reap an appropriate reward for choosing Jesus as Savior.

I believe Hitler if anything would have been a Christian in name only. I believe that Muslims who are terrorists are not true Muslims because they are not true to their religion.

I believe the Bible says a judgement follows. That would certainly shake the tree to see which apples are rotten and which ones don't hold on well enough.

I don't beleive a person finds out how much Jesus loves him when he dies. I beleive if one found out previous to death one might find how rewarding that is.

I believe there may be a few surprises for some but a Born Again Christian knows he has eternal life.

So what does that mean? Do Christians go to an afterlife as the person they now are? If you are Joe Blow the Good, Deserving Christian, is that your identity in the Christian Heaven? Does everyone say: 'Say, isn't that Joe Blow, that really Good, Deserving Crhistian whom Jesus loves to death? I hear he led an impeccable life on Earth. Maybe that's why HE gets that fancy house on the hill, while we who barely made it into heaven get these ordinary one room huts on the edge of Paradise. Lucky stiff! Some Christians have all the luck! I don't think it's fair, do you, Jane? I mean, I don't think Joe was all THAT good! I think I deserve better than him, actually. And then there's those pesky Muslims with their 17 virgins. Shameless! It's just not fair, I say!'

But it takes some high tech to make the plot work.

I do believe we are headed to a situation wherein we have no choice but to share what we really are.

And it could be possible that no one else will care to.

Picture Jesus, Judas and Hitler at the same table.....
sharing bread and a sauce bowl....

But since we're asleep, dreaming, lost in the state of Identification, and acting out NOT who we really are, as YOU do, we won't share anything, but instead will separate the 'worthy' from the 'unworthy', thereby making the 'unworthy' expendable, such as, for example, oh, providing a place of everlasting torment for them, while the 'worthy' get the 'reward' of an afterlife in some imaginary future place in the sky The imaginary reward of a future 'afterlife' is the catalyst to such a scenario, but the cause is pure ego, as in: 'God and Jesus love me more than he does you cuz I'm gooder than you'.

Hitler already tried that scenario by creating the class of 'untermenschen' to provide high contrast for his Nazi-German super-race. Currently, Christians in the US are attempting to create an official 'Christian Nation' which will make clear delineations between the 'worthy' and the 'unworthy' right here on Earth. Once official, this will target certain groups to rob them of their civil rights, all under the color of legal and religious 'authority'. 'Who we really are' will no longer be of any importance in such a world. It will be all about who they say you are and are not. It's called indoctrination and control of the human spirit.

Were it not for the Incarnation, there would be no Resurrection and subsequent glorious Ascension into heaven, body and soul.

On Judgement Day, all the dead will rise up out of their graves and gloriously ascend into Heaven. Makes me wonder, though, about those who were instantly vaporized in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

I can see it now. Millions upon millions of skeletons, all rising at the same time, bones a'jangling as they go....

You keep pointing to the spirit, but the flesh is what it's all about. Otherwise, why re-unite the body with the soul in heaven? Why, to enjoy the pleasures of the flesh to the hilt, especially sex,without limit, or guilt. On this, the Muslims have the Christians beat hands down with their concept of 17 giggling virgins running naked through the celestial woods.

No, not because they have no discipline, but because they suffer the consequences of their own delusions.

You are mistaking discipline for that which it leads to. Nurturing only discipline for its own sake leads to one becoming rigid, punitive, and authoritarian, an empty shell that just rattles. Enter Adolf Hitler, that rigid, anal-retentive nut-job who went down in flames.

You've got to learn how to bend, Thief, like the pine boughs bend with the weight of snow.
