Dear Mr. Paarsurrey
The Holy Koran passage that in my opinion best reflects your situation, post after post......
"2.44": What! do you enjoin men to be good and neglect your own souls while you read the Book; have you then no sense?

Yes that's one way to look at it.So, "Hinduism" is a misnomer not a specific religion. It is related to all the religions in the sub-continent .

Yet your own God YhWh values gold a lot it seems.Buddha, Krishna, Jesus,Zoroaster endorse that gold has nothing to do with religion or spirituality.
Anybody who disagree please quote from them.

[17:91] And they say, ‘We will never believe thee until thou cause a spring to gush forth for us from the earth;
[17:92] ‘Or thou have a garden of date palms and vines, and cause streams to gush forth in the midst thereof in abundance;
[17:93] ‘Or thou cause the heaven to fall upon us in pieces, as thou hast claimed, or thou bring Allah and the angels before us face to face;
[17:94] ‘Or thou have a house of gold or thou ascend up into heaven; and we will not believe in thy ascension until thou send down to us a book that we can read.’ Say, ‘Holy is my Lord! I am not but a man sent as a Messenger.’
[17:95] And nothing has prevented men from believing when the guidance came to them save that they said, ‘Has Allah sent a man as a Messenger?’

You have to bring the right mosque, otherwise he'll argue that they aren't true Muslims.
I did consider that same possibility, yes.It’s not that God values gold. The point is people value gold. Gold is used as a sort of reciprocation. Since God is highly valued, the materials used to honor God must also be highly valued. If houses of worship were built by children, there is a pretty good chance they would be made of Legos.

Jesus didn’t create a temple made of gold. He revealed a temple that always been. A temple made of something far more valuable than gold. At least that is the message of the Gospels.
What has gold to do with religion?!
[3:15] Beautified for men is the love of desired things — women and children, and stored-up heaps of gold and silver, and pastured horses and cattle and crops. That is the provision of the present life; but it is Allah with Whom is an excellent home.
[3:16] Say, ‘Shall I inform you of something better than that?’ For those who fear God, there are Gardens with their Lord, beneath which rivers flow; therein shall they abide; and pure spouses and Allah’s pleasure. And Allah is Mindful of His servants,

I don't agree with you.Well in the very early days of so called religion, Gold was seen as Enlightenment.
I don't agree with you.
Buddha left all worldly signs of richness and the enlightenment he got does not mention of gold . Right?
