What is energy?

No, real v. virtual is a red herring, it's actually about how stuff behaves at different scales, see here: Classical mechanics - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

If you drop a brick on your foot the pain is real enough.

Does'nt matter.

What you experience on the gross level is still determined at the sub-atomic level. Both levels are virtual, but you interpret the gross level as real.

The question here should be: what does Quantum physics have to say about Newtonian physics?

As an example: Newtonian physics says that an object remains stationary unless a force is applied. Quantum physics says that the object is moving, though it's movement is infinitesimally small.

Men once thought the Earth to be flat. Then they discovered it to be round. There are not two different worlds here. There is only one reality, but one view of it is incorrect.

edit: actually, it was Relativity that first overturned classical physics. This is not to say that Newtonian physics are not useful. It is, up to a point. You don't need the accuracy of Relativity or Quantum physics to predict the speed of a baseball.

Yes so. Our everyday world operates according to Newtonian mechanics, not quantum mechanics. It's the sub-atomic world which operates according to quantum mechanics.

Our physical brains and bodies are not exempt from Newtonian mechanics and mathematics.

The entire world is driven by our environment, external stimuli, quantum energies coming from the cosmos/celestial bodies. All knowledge derives from the environment in forms of quantum energy. All life derives from quantum energies.

Energy is also information in motion. Our brains being "in-formed." Any new conscious idea, thought, intuition must come externally via quantum energies.

Unsubstantiated rhetoric.

Supply sources for this, its a bit to much to swallow.

Off the top, I am thinking of radiation from the Sun in the form of UV photons, ie; 'packets' of information that the body uses to convert cholesterols into Vitamin D. Is this not 'information in motion?'
Plants use solar radiation to photosynthesize their own food.

Of course it matters because the "gross" level is what we actually experience. We don't experience quarks, we experience the effects of gravity, and when you drop a brick on your foot you experience pain.

It's YOUR reference.
Somewhere in the commentary. You do the footwork.

You made the claim that "The Heart Sutra, it tells us that there is a merging of subject and object." You have a habit of misrepresenting Buddhist teachings, so I'm asking you to back up that claim by showing where exactly the Heart Sutra says this.

Apparently, I read your source, but you haven't. So go do your homework. Done here.

Now, someone here said that 'the cosmos and I are one'. That is a merging of subject and object. That they are separate things is the illusion we labor under.

So what? You're just confirming the quality of the illusion; of the dream you call 'reality'.

You call yourself 'Buddhish'. What's that supposed to mean? Sounds like license to misrepresent Buddhism

Doesn't your teaching show you a path beyond pain and pleasure; beyond the 5 senses? Didn't the Buddha transcend the sensory world in order to achieve the vision by which he saw the illusory quality of the 5 aggregates? That form is emptiness, and emptiness is form?

We don't experience the gross level; we experience our mental conditioning.

All mass is created by fluctuations in the Quantum and Higgs fields. It is not real mass, but virtual mass. That means that the world you experience as 'Newtonian' is an illusion, but you have been conditioned via the old paradigm to think it real. You experience your mental conditioning, not things as they actually are. IOW, your conditioned view of reality determines how you interpret your experience of it.

A bug traversing the equator of a billiard ball 'thinks' he is going in a straight line. If he took incremental measurements at different points along his journey, he would 'confirm' his experience in terms of the laws of the second dimension, but not via the actual third dimension he is actually in.

I'm not playing that game any more. If you don't know the answer then why ask the question?

Because that's the question that needs to be asked. But your habit is to try to get others to answer it for you, rather than doing the work yourself. You've done that to me repeatedly, and now to ben d. He was gracious enough to accommodate you; I refuse to because I see your ploy as just trying to be clever. You're not. You're looking for an easy, black and white answer that fits your conceptual mind; that is safe. But Reality is non-conceptual. The rational mind-bag needs bursting.

OK, one more time. Sunyata is a teaching about the emptiness and conditionality of the 5 aggregates, and in Buddhism the 5 aggregates represent our human experience of the world. It's not an experiential realisation and not an ontological statement, and it has nothing whatsoever to do with quantum mechanics. You are continually misrepresenting both Buddhism and science and seem more interested in preaching and scoring points than having a genuine debate.

Here is something interesting, I just read... lol:

The millions and millions of light particles that flow down from the cosmos are seeking a body.

They are like the millions and millions of sperm that flow up the vaginal canal seeking the egg.

Out of the millions and millions, only one will make it into a human body.

The photon particles flow through all of creation and one will find a landing pad.

It finds the potential inside of the body of a female and nests there.

It then provides energy, animation, and life to the body.

You are a photon of light that flowed down from above and found a fetus with a Pineal inside of the body of a female, and you nested there.

Good, bad, or indifferent, that is the body and that is the tribe you will be attached to until that body dies, and you can get out of it, and find another one.

So there you are as a particle of light nesting inside of a body because the photon needs a body and the body needs a photon.

There is a bear hibernating in a cave, and inside of the bear a body is forming.

A photon particle streaming down is looking for a life source and it finds it.

It is a bear.

For the rest of that life, the light source will be a bear, here, or there, or somewhere else.

For once the light source nests, it becomes what it has become.

So the photon which you are, leaves in teleportation at the death of the body, and then moves quickly seeking another body to nest in.

The photon (you and me) exit the body at the right angular gyrus of the brain.

But as you exit, you take with you feelings and degrees of evolution.

You hover, and then are drawn to another female body, and you enter in, and nest in another fetus.

That fetus is filled with chromosomes, and genetics, but now you have evolved as light to a higher degree, and you can make a difference in this body where you could not make a difference before.

Everything evolves.

Everything grows and becomes stronger through time.

Light is no different.

It is neutral light.

Then it nests and it picks up an essence of experience.

It leaves, and moves on to another body and brings its evolved light to a new experience.

A fallen angel is an angle of light ,or angles of light, that misfired or were received improperly, and infected or nested in human females who then passed this on in the genetics.

And the human was intended to be the conveyance for photons so that light beings could exist in Gods realm of love, and the senses.

Photons must have a body to experience such things.

But these bodies that occupy the planet earth are defective.
