I like Suicide Club very much, but I don't find it scary so much as social satire in the vein of Battle Royale. But I love 'em both.Suicide Club
Scary movies make me laugh. The Unborn was hilarious.
The scariest movie I ever saw was Idiocracy.
I never ratified that treaty. Was there not a tacit agreement not to mention this film ever again

See? Another vote for Pulse (Kairo)! That film has this overwhelming sense of dread and lonliness running throughout it. It's so subtle and creepy.I remember watching the Japanses original of I think "Pulse", with the spirits taking souls, via computers.
It was a different kind of "scary", I've never been a fan of Gore or "Quick, shock" tactics in films, but this movie's ending portrayed such a feeling of lonliness and helplessness, and that to me was really, really scary.
When I was a kid I watched Alien(s) and Poltagiest, which was also pretty scary IIRC.
