As a result of "gay cure" therapies, I mean, yeah that's what the evidence suggests. It's too deeply rooted for us to be able to change it artificially, although a few people's sexualities may change over their lives in a natural and non-controlled process. Especially during puberty.
There are verses of the Bible just as clear condemning wearing clothes of mixed fabric. Most Christians have a different understanding of the Bible than you have of the Qur'an.

Against, no. Leviticus originally outlines a code of ethics for worship at the temple. The section commonly (mis)quoted against homosexuality outlines cleanliness before entering the temple, specifically to wash after sex.
But if you're going to point to the bible as example, then you'd better go all the way. Cherry-picking is a fool's gambit, and shows your motives to be yours and yours alone.
I don't know if @Ingledsva might have an interest in commenting on homosexuality in the Bible? Or keeping an eye out ready to pounce on claims, anyway.
If I understand what you are saying, he is just confirming that it is not a choice to be homosexual, and that it is very hard to deal with the rejection of society.

Consider the case of Omar Mateen. He was a young Muslim who was attracted to people of the same sex. Maybe we'd call him gay, bisexual, whatever. He was taught his whole life that this was wrong, he was raised in a homophobic environment. But he couldn't do anything about it, he couldn't change who he was, so he developed all this hatred towards himself, towards women, towards gay people. And so he shot 49 people and got himself killed in doing so.
