What kind of a god would make a place like Hell/Hellfire?

Sorry ,you may don't understand my point yet :)

My idea is already made in movie called I,Robot by Will Smith :)

Ok, but the robot (Sonny) was absolved of it's wrong doing because it was only a machine. It wasn't responsible for it's actions, it's creator was.

VIKI the Main Core was also only following it's program as well. VIKI was destroyed because it decided the only way to save man was to take away mans free will.

I guess the analogy would be if a jar maker makes an imperfect jar, they have a right to destroy it.

What kind of God? A completely fair one who makes rules and gives people a chance to obey those rules or not and then provides a penalty for those who do not.

How is that fair? There are scores of religious texts, hundreds of religions, and thousands of gods. And he expects to just know which one to pick?

And then there's more than one religion that threatens hell for nonbelievers, so
even if one is convinced they've dodged the bullet hell-wise in their religion of
choice, for all they know it was that other religion they should've accepted and
now they're doomed to that other religion's hell for all eternity.

Right now everyone does not have a fair chance because Satan controls most of the earth including its religions. Jesus is coming back to earth to remove Satan from power and then everyone will have a fair chance. Even those who died because they will be returned to life and taught about God without Satan's influence.

So same think some Robots followed orders, and some others disobey orders become enemies.

Almost same thing to humans with God.

Muffled

Jesus in me
The other day I burned my finger (only slightly, nothing serious) and I was spiraled down the rabbit hole of "what if" propelled by the idea that fire and burning is probably one of the few things that elicits an instantaneous reaction from our bodies. On contact, our bodies instantly recoil due to the instantaneous and lingering pain of a burn. That got me thinking, most human animals could not inflict that kind of lingering pain on others, aside from horrid things like Napalm used during conflicts, of course. Beyond that though, what kind of a being could stand by and watch some of its supposed creations writhing in pain for more than a few short moments - let alone, eternity?

Any thoughts justifying this would be appreciated.

I believe one that was willing to suffer on the cross certainly understands what suffering is all about.

Agree. It's a scare tactic that is common with cons and scams.

There's this phone scam going on, where someone calls and claim to be from Microsoft support. They tell you that they've hacked your computer and to prove it, they make you go through steps to show the "Computer License ID" (which is CLSID, that stands for ClassID, and not license at all, and it happens to be the same number of all Windows computers since Windows 95 or something). And they tell you, "Look, we hacked your computer! If you don't download this software, your computer will be taken over by evil hackers!!11!!" It's scare tactics to make you believe them, download their program, and ... ooops. Their program is the actual virus that locks your computer and now you have to pay thousands of dollars to unlock it. They got you.

Hell is just the scare tactics to make you believe in the invented solution.

I believe it is more than that. You would think people would be willing to do anything to stop suffering but some people seem to like it.

The Emperor of Mankind

Currently the galaxy's spookiest paraplegic
I believe it is the same thing.

Which is a horrendous standard of judging who could be saved from a completely unnecessary and horrendous fate at the wave of a hand or even a thought from Yahweh. That aside, our species has existed for between 1.8 million years and 200,000 years. The notion that Yahweh would wait until the end of our species' existence to send a saviour figure becomes increasingly doubt-worthy in light of this. How many millions of humans down the eons would you consider evil simply because they were either born too early or too far removed from the existence of Jesus?

Jesus saves us from sin and thereby also the consequences of it.

Nothing as convoluted as conditional salvation based on acceptance of a mediator is necessary when the one doing the saving is all-powerful. God could save us all if he wanted but instead places the onus of being 'saved' on us. Er go he is not moral.

you can't feel if you don't have touch sensory receptors. a body is necessary for the five basic senses.

so the torment, or hell, would have to occur in some other form; if it occurs at all.

burning desire. deep seated emotion of pain and suffering?

Robots cannot disobey and can only perform the functions they are programed/designed to perform. I wouldn't even say they can obey or disobey. They execute the code they are made to perform.
If it fails, it is pretty much on the creator for not using adequate parts, for not making sure everything is connected, and for uploading a flawed code.

I believe one that was willing to suffer on the cross certainly understands what suffering is all about.
He is a god who spent a speck of time of his immortality on something that probably hurt, but definitely wouldn't be the end of him. For a god, I would think such a thing would be comparable to when I got my tongue pierced. Sure, it really hurt, but for a minute, and then soreness for a few days, but there is none now and I would hardly call that suffering despite the fact it was one of the most painful ordeals I have been through.
