I'm watching "Gozu", a Japanese film.

Oh my God. I find it really weird, and I watch a lot of Japanese stuff.
No, this is really weird.

And not for kids.

'Gozu' by Takashi Miike - YouTube

This would make an amazing "Got Milk" commercial.

I just watched Lincoln. It was alright. I do have to say, Daniel Day Lewis is an amazing actor. The movie was really heavy in the political area, so if you're not a political nerd it will probably be a little boring.

LOL, yes it would. :D

And last film...

The Purge.

Meh.

It would've been a LOT better if it was a mockumentary, IMO, so you're seeing the chaos in the background etc.

It just felt like another version of Panic Room.

Pacific Rim - Could've been better but it was done well enough for me to enjoy it.

'O Brother, Where Art Thou?'

It's been a while since I've seen it, me and the wife kicked backed this weekend and had a great time. Great music, great film. When the Coen brothers do something right, it's hard to top it.

Collateral- with Tom Cruise and Jamie Foxx. It's about an assassin and a taxi driver, and it's one of my favorites.

Broken Flowers- An indie film with Bill Murray. Murray plays an aging retired wealthy guy that goes in search of a son he may have had with one of his previous relationships. It was okay, imo.

Cider House Rules- A young man leaves his work at an orphanage to experience the world. It explores a lot of themes about following rules vs. doing what one feels is right. Michael Caine was excellent.

Hitchcock with Anthony Hopkins and Helen Mirren.

An interesting, though short, film that was just getting juicy when it was over. :(
The disappointing part was that any female lead could have played Mirren's role.

So, sadly, I have to give it 3 out of a possible 5 Satanic Hampsters.

Last movie I saw was The Heat, which I thought was gonna suck but was actually HILARIOUS (best movie I've seen this summer), unless you count Man with the Iron Fists, which I'm watching as we speak.
