What women want in a man

What has always gone through my mind is...I'm going to have this image on me FOREVER...and I don't know if I'd like that same image 20 years from now, as I might right now. lol
I've thought the same thing about tattoos for decoration, but there are other approaches.

My own tattoo is mainly a message to my future self. It's a reminder about lessons I've learned and don't want to forget... if that makes sense.

My favourite tattoo story is in Moby Dick: while in a port on the other side of the world from home, a sailor sees an enormous whale skeleton. He's so impressed by it that he wants to bring word of it back home. He knows he's going to be at sea for several more years, so he doesn't trust any paper record to survive without being destroyed... so he gets the skeleton's dimensions tattooed on his arm. When I read that, I thought "that makes sense." :)

So what did you do instead? I already mentioned what I did. I went to a non-feminist country and found a good wife and we have been happily married for 24 years.
I have been married twice.
I was widowered after 20 years, and have been with my 2nd wife for 23 years.
If I had waited for some American woman to choose me, I would still be single.
American women seem quite switched on to me....... :p

This reminds me of an English bloke I knew in the 70's..
He hated English women because they avoided him, but when he went to Thailand each winter the Thai girls were all over him, so he thought that they were wonderful by comparison with English girls.
What he never seemed to realise was that in Thailand, if he had circa $20,000, that would make him a Bart Millionaire, and the girls that were crazy about him were in fact professional ladies and foreign marriage-hopefuls.
He just thought that he became more interesting, more good looking, more..... manly.... In Thailand!
We see what we want to see. :p

That's so cool, a message to your 'future self.'

If I had tattoos of all the lessons I've learned (and are still learning) my body would be covered. :p

Just in case someone here is getting bored of the usual crap spouted by modern culture. While I don't fully agree with the blog post, it is certainly more reasonable than the insanity of modern culture and feminism.
There is nothing reasonable about something that says rape is ok. NOTHING. If anything, I question it's appropriateness on this forum.
Makes sense, tattoos have been symbols of evil since biblical times, which is why the Bible prohibits them and why modern women love them.
Actually, going back that far, they were often markers of tribe/clan identity, social status and position, were given as a part of religious rituals, and would sometimes even be about something significant in their lives. To say they are a sign of evil is to make a judgement about people and cultures you know little about and to pass judgement on something you know little about.

He's so old that......
- When he was in school, history hadn't been invented yet.
- His social security number is 1.
- When he visits museums, staff keep putting him back in the cave man display.
- He remembers when rainbows were only in black & white.
- He calls even me "whippersnapper"!

Every woman is different. Personally, in a partner (regardless of gender) I'm looking for:

-Respect
-Loyalty
-Compassion
-Equality
-Having similar tastes, values, etc.

Unfortunately, many men that have these qualities get rejected because they aren't tall enough.

We all get or have gotten rejected at times for one reason or another (some of us more than others). Individual tastes vary, so one shouldn't take it personally. But there's someone for everyone (generally).

I'm 4'11". I've dated plenty of short men. I get that height is a privilege, but I've never had a preference for tall or short men or women.

You need to be banned from this site for promoting the rape of women!

I have three tattoos, and I like them all. :)

Are you saying that being anti-feminist and being pro-rape are the same thing?

Not sure what the point of this post is... People have physical preferences as well (though for me those aren't as rigid as personality).

With that said, I never met a guy my age that was smaller than me.
