And then when called on that RAPE crap - said -

Unfortunately, many men that have these qualities get rejected because they aren't tall enough.

How tall do they need to be? What's the average height for a woman, 5'4? Average height for a guy is 5'9. What's a woman looking for in terms of height?

So what did you do instead? I already mentioned what I did. I went to a non-feminist country and found a good wife and we have been happily married for 24 years. If I had waited for some American woman to choose me, I would still be single.

So different people are attracted to different things in their partners/potential partners? Who would have thought?

I'm a staunch supporter of feminism, and while I am attracted to women who value equality in a partner and believe that men and women are equal, I fully support any woman's freedom to choose a partner who holds non-feminist beliefs if she is attracted to that kind of men or women (in case she is a bisexual or lesbian). I view feminism as promoting gender equality and supporting women's autonomy as well as freedom of choice. I don't think having freedom of choice necessarily means that a woman will be a feminist or choose a feminist partner.

By the way, you are talking as if all American women were feminists. Maybe a lot of the women you met weren't feminists and were still alienated by something you said or did. You know, like encouraging/defending rape. Just saying.

Sorry, Ingledsva. That was a pretty disgusting blog. His whole "point" seems to be that since HE believes women prefer psychos and jocks, and since He says that these people always rape women, that women must prefer to be raped.

It is lacking any logic and is quite a disturbing way to think.

I'm a feminist myself. I like feminists because they have a healthy understanding of the dynamics of gender in relationships.

I'm serious. All I preach is love and respect for women. Part of that is promoting equal rights for women, especially in one's own home. I'm a reformed playa. I know how to do it but I don't go chasin' tail anymore. I seek innocent romance with women.

I think the saddest thing about all of this is that you probably believe what you are saying here.

I suggest you go back and re-read almost every post you have made about transsexual women, contemplate those posts, and then think about why your above statements come across as downright comical.

I think there are almost certainly far fewer pushovers who are feminists than there are among non-feminists. That said, I have personally seen many non-feminist women who aren't pushovers at all. There are other things that prevent me from feeling attracted to them, but being pushovers is not one of those things.

Ironically, this is closer to the radical feminist point of view. They see trans women as having grown up with male privilege and are not viewed as "real women."

Also, notice the variety of answers by men declaring what a woman wants from a man. According to this thread, it's no wonder why women are thought of as mysterious if all y'all keep debating amongst yourselves more often than actually paying attention to the women telling you what they want.

Really? I'm no where near an expert on trans issues but they seem very far from privileged, especially mtf, I imagine (due to our society). They probably have their more than fair share of troubles in life.

It's a terrible thing to say... Baffles me it comes out from the mouth of people who claim to fight for equality.
