What would be evidence that God exists?

How do you know God is not behind the science that is "rediscovered" by man?
Just because someone do not believe in God does not mean He is not there...
I will concede that the god of all known bibles is a figment of men's imaginations. I do not believe the god of bibles exist because we have proof he doesn't and never spoke to people on Earth.

What part of the Big Bang, evolution do you believe a god had a hand in?

Evolution is proof the god of the bible doesn't exist. Evolution has produced too many species that failed to come from any god. Now try arguing with some facts, the Internet is a better tool for finding the truth than any bible.

  1. More than 99 percent of all species, amounting to over five billion species, that ever lived on Earth are estimated to be extinct. Estimates on the number of Earth's current species range from 10 million to 14 million, of which about 1.2 million have been documented and over 86 percent have not yet been described.

In my understanding God is the hand behind the mechanism of big bang, meaning that God started it with intention that it develop on its own after the creation was put forth.
So that put the " evolution in the hand of God.

And other thing to remember is that a day here in our physical realm is not the same as a day in heaven. So the scripture has it correct.
As a muslim i do see the scripture a bit different then Christians but in general its very similar teaching on those areas of teaching.

So you don't believe the bible on creation. Now examine all the other stories in the bible that are clearly made by men.

I'll kick it off with Adam and Eve. We were Hunter-Gatherers for 500,000 years of Earth's time, Why not start Adam and Eve then? Because the bible storytellers had no knowledge of that time. Like they had no knowledge of Neanderthals and other Hominids we shared the Earth with. A god who put them on earth would know.

Is the teacher a god or man. There's no way it was a god unless he intentionally lied to us, there is strong evidence it was men. Especially in Islam.

You are free to believe what you want :)

Even in Islam Adam is the first human being. But you fortgetting something, first of all human beings at that time lived a lot longer then we do today, so you can not take the bible and count back using todays normal life span as a measure, then you will not get back far enough in time.

We as humans have no chance to know what a God thinks or plan, so its no need for me to tell what God think because i do not know.
Yes i believe the Quran is the words of Allah, given to us through Muhammad, that is my personal belief.
If others want to disbelief or believe in something else that is ok to me.
How can you say bible tellers had no knowledge about that time ( of Adam and Eve) where is your proof of that? You where there to witness it?

Half a billion is the number of stars in the Milky Way multiplied by 5 to give you a rough estimate of the number of planets.

All species have an intelligence, Man isn't unique in that. If they didn't have the intelligence of some level they would be plants.

Your problem is you're straying so far from what bibles tell us you're losing your own argument. So do you concede the bible is made by men?

Plants have intelligence as well. I never argued from the bible point of view.

I'm arguing that there is natural adaptive intelligence that creates intelligent, and intelligently formed creatures.

Your numbers speak nothing of blind, unguided processes producing anything intelligent. It's all on the surface, your numbers. There's no intrinsic understanding to your numbers. You are making blind assumptions with them.

All you have is an intuitional inference based on assumptions from appearances.

Humans never lived long enough to cover the mistakes the bible writers made.
They never made reference to the other Hominid species we shared the Earth with. They never made reference to the millions of species that evolved and became extinct before hominids arrived.
Were you there to witness people to the age of 1,000 years. I have their remains to view for my evidence. You have a man who claimed he had communication with a god. While setting out to kill those who disagree with him.

There may be an intelligent life form that kick started evolution but that doesn't make the bible true or the message from god.
Try to find evidence of an intelligent life form creating the Earth and be sure to post it here. Or is just an assumption based on nothing.

I agree with the first paragraph. The intelligent forms of living creatures, and the functional coherence of their systems leads me to think that it is intelligently constructed. Maybe one day we will see who has the better intuition.

The bible actually tells us how long the prophets lived and based on that it was Humans have been around 6,000 years. So unless you think a year back then was 10 times longer than today. The bible writers lied.
When science proves the bible is wrong bow can you still believe it's the word of god?

So just an assumption.
At least we proven you don't believe in the bible.

Because i have faith in the teaching. Even as a muslim i have no reason to say bad about other religions, they are free to have their own teaching and teachers.

Religious belief is a personal faith in God and the teaching we have been given.

I have 0% interest in science so it is a bit difficult to discuss that part.

There is no problem with living a good life. One can do that easier without religion. We see proof of this every day, especially in Islam and what the Quran and OT demand.

You're in a dilemma because you can't pick and choose what parts to follow. For instance what does the Quran demand should be done with Gay people and adulterers?

Why is it a dilemma for me to be a muslim and follow the teaching in the quran?

Answer to your second question is: it depend on what country they are Gay, where Sharia law s used yes they get punished to extreme, in other countries like UK there is no punishment used for the normal muslim who happens to be gay.

Personally i dont think of what others do in their private love life.

You're ruled by Islam wherever you live. And Islam is telling you what to do in your private life.
You like all religious people pick and choose what parts to follow.

The teaching say what is correct way to practice Islam yes, but that does not make me a slave or a robot, and yes i do probably wrong every day either in action, speech or thoughts. Practicing Islam is doing our best to be as close we can to how God ask of us to be as human beings. But it does take time and effort.
Prayer in it self does not fix my problem in life, but i can get a clue what i must fix.

I understand you have a negative view of Islam, that is your understand and opinion about what Islam is of course.
For meIslam is the best that has happen to me. But i dont ask others to become muslims, that is up to each person to deside.

My negative view to all religions is they demand I follow blindly, based on books that are clearly lying to us. Yes at the moment and for a long time Islam has been at war with itself, a war that Christianity went through but has dropped as we found the truth.

I have no worries with you picking and choosing what parts to follow, the problem is many religious people don't think like you. They want to marry off their children to people parents choose, they demand the wearing of a mask or a shawl, for women, eating certain meats, etc. Clearly something that was fine in a desert country but not in a modern country. They want to live a "holy" life, go live in a holy place where they can follow their religion.

You are speaking of those who follow strict sharia law, sharia is not in it self a part of the teaching of the Qur'an. I am not a strict follower of Sharia law my self.
My girlfriend who is also a muslim did not get pushed in to a relationship with me, she fell in love with me just i fell in love with her. A natural relationship that is free from any extremist interpretation of sharia law.

Islam is a personal religious teaching and that you disagree with it is ok. You dont practice it anyway.

Have you studied the texts of the different religions by the way? Since you claim they are all false or full of errors.

Sharia law: What it is, what it isn’t, and why you should know

Says something else.

I have studied the OT and NT enough to know they are both wrong.
