I am looking at this from a UK plc point of view; if jobs in Banking, Insurance or whatever are leaving London it is bad news. The thing is, those jobs support the lesser paid, cleaners, caterers, shop keepers, etc.
The bankers will be fine, may have to relocate, but the low paid are made redundant.
