But before that happened, PM May privately met with demoness Merkel.
Wow...sovereignty and autonomy at its best.

And people even wonder why my country wants to eliminate that German witch.
But we will.
Meanwhile we welcome with open arms the comb-over orange crybaby to these shores, absolutely shameful.

Hi..........
So long as we get clear and away..... somehow...... anyhow...... and then the whole bunch can resign for all that I care.

And as each 'up' comes along some of the europhobes will chant 'See?!' and as each 'down' comes along some of the europhiles will chant 'Told you so!'........ we just need to get clear, and then we'll be our own 'Britain' again.

Can't blooming wait......
But the rhetoric has changed from "£350m a week for the NHS" to "We won't be that much worse off and within 15-years we will be back to normal"

Project Reality is hitting home.

And now, after the meeting to unite the Tories on Brexit, the Brexit Secretary has resigned.
You couldn't script it.

Its well worthy of a face-palm and the whole process has been poorly managed (understatement) but there's no going back now.

"I wish to stop paying for membership of this exclusive library."
"Very well."
"So, can I take a book out?"
"Um... No."
"Why not?"
"You're no longer a member. You said you wanted to stop paying membership."
"But I still want to take books out."
"But you can only do that if you're a member."
"That guy over there is taking out a book, why can't I?"
"That person over there is a paying member. You are no longer a paying member."
"Nevertheless, I think I should be able to take books out."
"Why did you stop paying your membership if you still want to take books out? Why not just keep paying your membership?"
"I think I deserve special treatment."
"But you're not a paying member. If you are a paying member, you are entitled to take out books, but if you don't want to pay membership, you can't take out books."
"... This sounds like criminal behavior to me."

Nice story until you realise you've been paying 50 times more than the majority of the other members, this definitely sounds like criminal behaviour.

Because the UK has a much bigger economy than those countries. Plus, we receive a massive rebate from the other EU countries, and consequently the UK pays a smaller proportion of its GNI than any of the other countries:

You're right, it's criminal we paid so little, took so much back and had all the benefits, and now demand the exact same deal without paying anything.

We've paid plenty others zilch and free movement has caused financial refugees and increased human trafficking and we should pay more because we can?, really we should pay the same as the least contributor, sound fair to me.

No, what would be fair is if we paid the same percentage per GNI as every other country, but we don't. We pay less than all the other countries and receive a huge rebate. Your idea that we should pay as much as the smallest economy is insane and completely ignorant of basic economics.

Financial refugees? Oh is this about the evil Europeans abusing British welfare? Just so you know, the UK chose to give these people welfare. It wasn't the EU forcing the UK to do it.

And how is the free movement supporting human trafficking? You are on an Island for crying out loud and not part of Schengen anyway. So these traffickers have to get through your border controls.

Oh sorry I missed your post.

Your desperation and anger in this comment are the proof that Germany is doing anything to prevent Brexit, by boycotting UK economy. Thanks for your honesty.
I hope the British people realize this.

Tell the dictator Chancellor that 12 EU countries are against her, and her power is irrelevant, now.

This might surprise you but I am just a normal person living a normal life without access to politicians like her.

You also seem to be under the weird assumption that I like Merkel.

Ah, right, I forgot...Austria. Our great ally.

You are evidently against Brexit, though.

But I am not. I genuinely want the UK to go away. As far away as possible.
Everything De Gaulle warned the other countries of came true.
The UKs only policy throughout its membership was sowing distrust and sabotaging the idea of European unity.

What I am against is letting the UK dictate the terms of the post-Brexit relationship.
I personally don't understand it but apparently the UK thinks that it can somehow set the terms and that the EU should be happy to get the worst deal possible.

Which is of course completely insane.

Just to put things right.

I am from the UK also, I voted REMAIN, like another 48% did, the whole of the UK is NOT all Farages, Johsons and Rees Moggs - some of us can see the bigger picture.
LEAVE have broken all electoral rules, Aaron Banks had 11 (yes 11!) meetings with the Russian Ambassador
, Farge is tied up with Trump and Russia, it is all an anti Europe plot by Russia...who are laughing at their success.

No its not about that although its definitely part of the bigger picture and it would be naeve to say it hasn't put pressure on our infrastructure.

Exactly and we catch them but in the schengen it's so much easier and plus Mrs mad mopp Merkel let a million unknowns in,who knows what that crazy woman will do next.

Ah it hurts.

Yes it hurts to be part of a massive fail.

Yes...the UK has the right to set the terms...and as I said, deserves a privileged deal.

...btw Italy and Austria together lead an anti-Merkel coalition of several EU member states...we should focus on how grave the migratory crisis is...we could even be forced to close the Brenner

Yes...what about our Italian parties in charge who signed a contract with Putin? And Chancellor Kurz who allied with Putin?
We're all in this plot...ha ha

Why?

Which has nothing to do with the discussion at hand.

The illegal immigrant wave of 15 and onward has very little to do with the UK and its relationship with the EU aka Continental Europe.
The UK was always antagonistic to the EU. It only worsened after 1990.

And the Brenner? And then what? Italy receives far less goods from Central Europe.
*slow clap*

As @England my lionheart said, because the UK paid the most in the EU. So...it deserves that.

Kurz said that about the Brenner...not us. We Italians are even disposed to give South Tyrol back to Austria...if they still want it :D

Don't minimize the migratory crisis, which is one of the many reasons why UK is leaving. The EU was not able to manage this big issue...

His point was already disproven.
Germany, France and Italy all pay more into the EU budget. All of which don't get a "UK rebate".

Kurz said that about the Brenner...not us.

Good for him.

Only if the ethnic Italians leave too.

False. Germany contributes the most (over 20 billion euros), France the second (over 15 billion euros), then Italy, and the UK just behind. Not only that, but the UK receives 2/3 of its contribution back in a rebate, and donates the lowest amount per GNI of all the countries in the EU.

The UK was already getting far more out of the EU than we were putting in.

...and now Boris resigns too.

At least we are shut of two incompetent buffoons but I suspect they are planning a coup and May had better get herself some back protection.

Whatever it costs......... let's get the hell out of that particular party. And then we'll know where we stand.

There is a cost for freedom, I guess, so let's just go it.

We have been sold a pup by Davis, Johnson, Farage, Rees Mogg and the rest.
No one knew what we were getting when we leave. Now that it is becoming increasingly obvious that Brexit is a cock-up, the rats are fleeing the ship shouting, "It is not what we wanted" but not saying what they did want.
Davis and Johnson in particular as the men in charge of exiting the EU have no excuse; they were in control.

Useless bast**ds

They're not rats and not fleeing ............. and they have been quiet so far. They're standing back because they don't agree with the PM's decisions with no control over these at all.

Davis and Johnson in particular as the men in charge of exiting the EU have no excuse; they were in control.
Sadly they were not in control......... if they had been then Brexit would be a totally different policy altogether.

Useless bast**ds
Useless?.......... clearly nobody has been listening to them so they might as well have a holiday.
