How so?

Would Brussels just cave in to all British demands because Mighty Boris said so?

Who is "Brussels"? The technocratic mafia?

In a democratic EU it's the single member states who decide and Italy is disposed to accept any British request.

Financial refugees? Oh is this about the evil Europeans abusing British welfare? Just so you know, the UK chose to give these people welfare. It wasn't the EU forcing the UK to do it.

And tbf, they're far less likely to be on welfare than British citizens anyway.

They're not rats and not fleeing ............. and they have been quiet so far. They're standing back because they don't agree with the PM's decisions with no control over these at all..
Of course they are. They have been in prime position to lead the negotiations for the last two years and both of them have proved incompetent. Now they see that Brexit is failing, they are running away and will blame everyone except themselves. Not once have they come up with a sensible suggestion.
Johnson even ran away from the Heathrow vote. A pathetic excuse for a man.

Sadly they were not in control......... if they had been then Brexit would be a totally different policy altogether..
Since they lost the election to be PM; they had the next best positions to influence Brexit. I repeat, they have not put forward a way forward that could work.

Useless?.......... clearly nobody has been listening to them so they might as well have a holiday.
They were on holiday!! Both missing in Action. All they were doing was snipping from the wings, a pair of self promoting politicians.

I cannot think of a better British PM than Nigel Farage.
That said, soft Brexit or not, all that matters is to leave to put Juncker and his gang in their place.

Why?

What experience does Farage have that he could bring to the position? He's never served as an MP and during his time as an MEP he almost never attended the committees he was part of. All he did was sponge taxpayers money and lie, cheat and **** over the people he repre-

Okay, I retract my question. Your position actually makes perfect sense.

So, as well as corrupt and false slogans, Vote Leave has now been fined and reported to the police by the Electoral Commission.

What a pity it has no teeth, surely this sham referendum needs to be re-run.

I have to agree that it is a sham how its being dealt with and that's because nobody expected or were prepared for a leave vote, that being said Cameron along with the others who have walked away forget they are or were public servants.

IMO we should be feeling like

Control of our borders.
No more nonsense directives.
Self determination.
New trade deals.

I love Europe but never felt European, been to some amazing places there too, wine women but not so much song (ever seen the euro song contest lol) so I'm glad we're out and feeling positive, not every one is so here's your chance to say why.

Not living in England, I have no dog in the fight. But I would like to be able to understand both sides of the argument much better. My current inability is due both to my own laziness and to parties on both sides doing so much hand waving.

LOL!!!!!!! My personal take on the whole thing is "Sh*t or get off the pot". All in, or completely out.

Or maybe, "In for a penny, in for a Pound"?

The UK have always wanted all the benefits of a European Union but none of the hassle, hence all the opt outs.

Now they are pulling out of what they fought for to be rid of the hassle they mostly avoided but still want the benefits
