Today the Italian PM said before the Parliament:

"We will do anything to support the British people in the Brexit process. We are ready and disposed to create a strong economic partnership between the two countries, to favor and maintain trades and mobility of people."

I hope this finally convinces the British that the only ones who are boycotting Brexit and the UK economy are dictator Merkel and her puppet, l'enfant prodige Macron.

Not quite true, most countries who trade with europe will boycott britain because they are loath to put a potential 700+ million market place at risk for a market of 65+ million.

But Italy once again takes its eye off the economy.

You know you are in deep dung when your hope on the horizon is the second most broke country in the EU that would literally fall apart without the money from the EU.

Your desperation and anger in this comment are the proof that Germany is doing anything to prevent Brexit, by boycotting UK economy. Thanks for your honesty.
I hope the British people realize this.

Tell the dictator Chancellor that 12 EU countries are against her, and her power is irrelevant, now.

Too bad I am not German.

Ah, right, I forgot...Austria. Our great ally.

You are evidently against Brexit, though.

I see no desperation or anger, just truth. Seems a pity you are unable to see that.

The british people who voted brexit (even brexit leaders) are having second thoughts as the lies they were fed and the facts of the consiquences of brexit are coming to light.

As I said previously, reading some shocking things here on Brexit threads, I am convinced that some of the users here might be relatives of some banker opposing Brexit out of mere economic interests.

Like the Austrian girl over her

And why should family relations matter? Brexit runs far deeper on a personal level than someones second cousin.

As for economic interest, more and more people, even leading brexiteers are noew beginning to the the economic nightmare britain has voted itself into as the pro brexit lies come to light.

Edit And i see you ignored my post #644

Uh, you do realise we're the ones leaving the EU and the Single Market, right? Not that we voted to leave the Single Market or anything... I'm just saying that's what's happening.

Angela Merkel in 2017: "Although it is clear that, a third state, which is what UK will become, cannot and will not obtain the same rights as a EU member state, or even a better treatment than a EU member state. (....) UK is under an illusion that it can and will"

This speech proves Germany, as leader of the EU bankers' dictatorship, is blackmailing the British Government with an explicit threat.
It sounds like a criminal behavior to me.

Nigel Farage said it clearly: among the three leading economies, only Italy is supporting Brexit and will not approve of any economic retaliation towards Britain.

And yes, UK deserves a privileged treatment.

So, just imagine that you are in our friendly fishing club. You disagree with the club's rule on litter.
You then unilaterally decide to leave the club because the litter rule is draconian.
You then expect to be able to agree a new associate membership in which you enjoy the same rights and fish the same rivers and lakes but can drop litter wherever you want.

The club says, "No".

Is the club blackmailing the ex-member? I think not.

Is that a Masters in International Law I hear talking or the words of a desperate separatist? What exactly is 'criminal', 'threatening' or 'blackmail' about telling a country that it cannot, as a non-member, retain the benefits and influence it now has as a member when it renounces its membership?

Nigel Farage said it clearly: among the three leading economies, only Italy is supporting Brexit and will not approve of any economic retaliation towards Britain.

So? Italy is a basket-case of an economy and if the UK is so amazing it would do better than to place its hope on a nation no better off than itself.

Now I'm going to assume I didn't gulp down exhaust fumes before logging in; assume that I'm reading the following statement correctly and ask one question.

And yes, UK deserves a privileged treatment.

Why?

First of all, the UK is a special case, because it decided to have its own currency; it deserves a special deal, as much as Switzerland has a special relation with the EU.
Switzerland is privileged and UK isn't?

The EU is based on solidarity derived from a common European identity..it is not based upon competition or selfish interests, as Mrs Merkel wants you to believe.

And instead of speaking of fishing clubs, listen to Nigel Farage for once...and understand that Germany plays dirty while Italy doesn't.

The uk is leaving the eu, why should it enjoy eu rights? No blackmail. Just honest fact. Sorry you dont like it.

And of course farrage is known as an honest and trustworthy politician (not). Italy among the 3 leading economies?? Wow that surprised me. Oh right, farrage said it. Ok, got it noe.

Why does britain deserve privileged treatment when nigeria, chile and japan (for example) dont?

Switzerland is privileged

Switzerland like Norway has to abide by all EU regulations without having a say in them.

That's what you want? Cool.

Yeah but that is for EU members. Not for those outside or soon to be outside.
You seem to be under the weird impression that Britain is liked in the EU.

"I wish to stop paying for membership of this exclusive library."
"Very well."
"So, can I take a book out?"
"Um... No."
"Why not?"
"You're no longer a member. You said you wanted to stop paying membership."
"But I still want to take books out."
"But you can only do that if you're a member."
"That guy over there is taking out a book, why can't I?"
"That person over there is a paying member. You are no longer a paying member."
"Nevertheless, I think I should be able to take books out."
"Why did you stop paying your membership if you still want to take books out? Why not just keep paying your membership?"
"I think I deserve special treatment."
"But you're not a paying member. If you are a paying member, you are entitled to take out books, but if you don't want to pay membership, you can't take out books."
"... This sounds like criminal behavior to me."

And now, after the meeting to unite the Tories on Brexit, the Brexit Secretary has resigned.
You couldn't script it.

But before that happened, PM May privately met with demoness Merkel.
Wow...sovereignty and autonomy at its best.

And people even wonder why my country wants to eliminate that German witch.
But we will.

Hi..........
So long as we get clear and away..... somehow...... anyhow...... and then the whole bunch can resign for all that I care.

And as each 'up' comes along some of the europhobes will chant 'See?!' and as each 'down' comes along some of the europhiles will chant 'Told you so!'........ we just need to get clear, and then we'll be our own 'Britain' again.

Can't blooming wait......
