I don't understand it my kids tell me I've been "sitting" in this chair for a while, and they want to spend time with me.

Yeah, I tried sitting on the floor at first.....& missed.
Chairs are harder, but with practice, practice & more practice, I can now sit at Carnegie Hall.

It's the only way. But i'm pretty sure saw technology has evolved so that when you cut things it doesn't hurt. I've cut LOTS of wood without hurting the wood, and a few other things, so I don't see why a person would be different.
