Who made God?

Religious faith is not convenient.
Wanting has nothing to do with it.

it sure is convenient...it justifies biases to the umph degree
only because one wants it so badly...

If you believe in life after death....there's plenty to be considered.
And none of it can be proven....while we breath
so why concern yourself about it...

Want proof?....all you gotta do is die....and you will.

no! really? :thud:

I don't see bias.
It's one way or the other....regardless of who you are.

so why concern yourself about it...

And the one thing we all must do....die....is of no concern?

no! really? :thud:

Yeah...for real.

Of course, if there is no life after death....you still don't get your proof.

But what about the righteous humble sheep-like people of Matt 25vs31,32 ?

There is no record of them having to ever die.
They are alive on earth at the time of Jesus glory, and they can remain alive and keep right on living into Jesus 1000-year reign over earth with the prospect of never having to die but gain everlasting life right here on a paradisaic earth.

Is there record they still DO live?

And you would be content to do likewise?

Heaven is thought to be somewhere...other than here.
Don't you want to go?....

Flesh cannot inherit the kingdom.

Flesh cannot inherit the kingdom.

Good point flesh [and blood] can Not inherit God's kingdom according to 1st Cor 15v50.
Jesus resurrected 'brothers' must 'put on' immortality according to verses 53,54.
Jesus 'brothers' are the same group as mentioned at Matthew 25v40.

Whereas the 'sheep' of verse 32 are Not the 'brothers' of verse 40.

If you feel you belong right here on earth, then it would appear you are being drawn out to be one of those 'sheep' who can remain alive on earth forever.

I'm perfectly content to stay here. -Micah 4vs3,4

Life here in this world is one compromise after another.
To have what you will...something else will be reduced.

Spiritual life would be otherwise.
The kingdom is not of this world.
God is believed to be eternal....yet he does not sleep....
or anything else human.

Do you have desire at all...to be like Him?

Do you have desire at all...to be like Him?

When he created Adam, he made Adam 'in his image' so we already are like God...

and we are children of God if we imitate him through righteousness, love & justice

There is a difference between spiritual life and physical life.

God is spirit.

Do you really think He looks like you?

Your god is very real. He created you, not vice-versa. You're just listening to the wrong side, right now.

well lets see...
god is a jealous god
god has to have power over your life
god is to be feared
god is vengeful
god is the center of the universe

seems pretty human to me.

God is creator and almighty.
Human?.....not likely.

Difficult to deal with?...we'll see.

says who, humans?

a rock is a rock because it is understood as a rock
a mountain is a mountain because it is understood as a mountain
a god is a god because man says so... and hardly understood in the same way

see the difference?

You don't.

But first you have to decide if there is life after death....
Then seriously decide what to expect when you die.

No hierarchy?....really?...no one greater than you?

Understanding Something greater than yourself?....yes you can.
Accepting the situation that is not in your control?
That.... is probably your hold up.

Thats the first mistake you made, you don't decide whether there is life after death. There has to be evidence to support that claim before it's believable.
