Why are Atheists on Religiousforums?

I was just banned a few hours ago from an atheist forum. I don't believe in a god, but I certainly don't believe in that atheism stuff.....

Oh, but you do.....in fact, by not believing in gods, you're a fundamentalist atheist.
It doesn't take much to be one....we have such a singular fundamental belief, or rather disbelief.

What you fail to realize is that an atheist can look at a topic without bias, and without wearing blinders.

We don't look at it with the lens you do. In your case you see everything through the lens of Islam. Many Christians only see with that particular lens.

Just different levels of education.

Atheism has its problems as we are people. Many hold bias against theist and have agendas.


No one or no group is perfect. We just have the most openness in accepting different kinds of educations without the theistic blinders that limit some people.

Not sects as such, but certainly several constrasting approaches to issues. As is to be expected.

No, atheism in and of itself has nothing other than disbelief in God.
But all atheists then have beliefs on top of atheism (since atheism isn't the basis for anything)

These beliefs can allow more meaningful grouping of like-minded atheists.

Eg.
What are their political views?
Are they anti-theists?
What are their views on sexual and gender equality?
And most importantly, do they accept the Boston Celtics as the one true basketball team, and renounce all others?
