Why are people fighting

Why are so many people fighting over religious beliefs

It's driving me nuts o_O

The only times I will firmly argue over religious beliefs is when some Christian tries to shame me for leaving the faith or when some Trump supporter(s) bellows about Biden's flaws and shortcomings (while stubbornly dismissing all of Trump's flaws and excessive immoral behavior), or when some Trump supporter(s) calls me an evil person (or demon possessed, or a child of Satan, and/or a "demon rat") because I switched to the Democratic Party, and voted for Biden. Most of the time, I live and let live, but I do have my limitations on what I'll tolerate and what I won't tolerate. I don't like to be berated and shamed because I'm no longer a Christian.

The question may be. Is it the "pushing proselytising" or the soft way of explanation when asked about our faith that work best?

Showing by doing/ living by the teaching as an example for others to follow by their heart.

The softer option without repercussions of an eternity on the bbq if you reject it.

Heres my take, religion and politics are peas from the same pod,I don’t see it as fighting but rather some hard questioning, people in the proselytising religions when confronted by this hard questioning feel under attack, after all proselytising is really a one way street right?,that’s of course imo.

As longs as you understand that not all politics are religion and not all moral systems are religious. IMO of course.

The thing is if someone believes in eternity of hell, then it's more compassionate for them to become hated for preaching truth then liked for hiding it, and is more praiseworthy though not recognized this world, if they become the dark knights that forbid evil and are hated for it by people.

some judge with their eyes and are never full of themselves. some judge with their heart and are fed by the hidden manna. when the reveal is made; some will awaken to everlasting life and love, other's to everlasting contempt of other as self.

fyi, you didn't have that far to be driven. its ok to be cracked. that's how the light gets out/in

If someone believes in the eternity of hell It would be more compassionate to prove it actually exists,of course some people believe they are preaching truth but it doesn’t make it so.

How can hate conqure hate? If you show hate to everyone who do not see truth the way you do, how are they going to see the path in to the light?

Well, yes. And if spotted they are usually fired, unless the bosses are a part of the problem.

In my area, the whole system is corrupt. They do what they want(sometimes going above the law), regardless of what they should do.

Honestly, if I was going down the wrong path, I'd prefer you called the police on me before you called the social workers. The police will arrest me, and I'll do my time, but the social workers may ruin my life for years to come.

I do hope this is a rarity.

Well, I know. We are overall still holding up in Denmark, but yes, there are cracks.

Recently, after a local fiasco, we had a social worker write a letter to the local paper to let people know that Human Services does not have the average person's best interest at heart, and one should protect themselves from such agencies. I'm sure she was fired, but I'm glad she did that... too many people around here don't understand the nature of the agency.
