that's actually a great point. That's not fun at all from a guy's perspective. I think a lot of guys feel differently when it comes to being viewed a sex objects. I think the fact that it's so easy for a guy to procreate without emotional attachment has something to do with it.

I also think it has something to do with how men are conditioned to always be the assertive one in any mating situation, that y'all believe that you must initiate, so it's unusual to be pursued by women. Women are conditioned not to pursue, not to enjoy sex for sex's sake, and certainly not to give any signals of interest outright.
One thing I've learned as the local whore around these parts is just how many men crave the feeling of being desired. It fuels the false equivocation between being the object of desire and being objectified. There's a lot that society expects out of all y'all, and being an object of desire is certainly not one of them. You're expected to take the lead and to pursue others. It's defined as complimentary toward a woman if you take notice and pursue her, so of course cishet men will believe the opposite should be true, that turnaround is fair game.
Gender roles presents problems not just for women, but men too.

Why is a woman whom desires other women sexy, but a man whom desires other men "corrupted"? I've always wondered this. If same sex attraction is such an "icky" thing then why a double standard? Shouldn't women together, doing things to each other, be considered just as "corrupted", just as wrong, as two men together?
Some things are icky & some things aren't.
Example:
Guys like bulges. Hooters are bulges....2 of'm. A goiter is a bulge. And yet, one is gross & the others are enticing. Is it the quantity or the location? Is this unfair double standard? Tastes just are what they are. But I don't judge goiter fanciers.

Ah, but just what is it about a kiss or caress? Two women kissing? Men get all drool boy (why, especially if they are lesbians I just don't understand...they don't want you men) but two men kissing and...oh, it's wrong, so very wrong and icky.

what you consider relevant and what is actually relevant can be two very different things. Take your pursuit of being a "good person". One's status as a "good person" depends on a relevant definition of good and evil. If we've personally defined good and evil so that "good" consists of committing all the acts we want to commit no matter how depraved it really doesn't have any relevance at all besides soothing our own hardened conscience.
That's how it is for some guys. Even straight porn offends many guys, who don't want to see another's junk. 2 women.....plenty'o sex, but no junk. Not interested in me? They're either on paper or a computer screen, so even if they were straight they'd have no interest in me. Does it make sense? Maybe....I dunno.

What I mean by "not interested" is that I've seen the very same guys, in a bar, get all irate if they so much as think another guy is possibly checking them out, but will fawn over and try to actually pick up a lesbian couple. I've watched it happen. The lesbians tend to just laugh off the guys or straight up tell them to get lost, then the guys get irate again over having been rejected by lesbians. Well? Just what do they think is going to happen? So it isn't just a porn thing, it's an in-person thing. this insane thought that some guy has a chance to get in with two girls...that even happen to be together. But, if those very same guys so much as hear a pick-up line from another man...holy crap...gays are wrong...they are sick...homosexuality is disgusting. It is such a stupid double-standard.
It's been over 40 years since I've been in a singles bar, & don't remember those attitudes. But then I was so clueless (even worse than now) that I wouldn't have noticed.

It's admittingly a double standard. The truth is I view both as corrupt but one just drives me wild while the other one disgusts me

Why? What is it about men together that disgusts you? You don't think that is an issue? Do you not think your cognitive dissonance should be addressed to find out the root of the issue? Given that this mindset seem to be quite common I think it worth getting figured out, as I think problems could be solved were it hashed out.

I use to go to a particular bar with a lesbian couple that were friends of mine and every once and a while this gay guy we were all friends with. I saw this stuff play out quite a bit actually.
Socializing always struck me as weird & inscrutable stuff.

but if people want to go the other way that's fine by me......theres enough baby's on this earth now it doesn't matter if gay couples cant take part in bringing a new born into this world.
i used to think it was wrong but in a " not part of gods plan" way.

I've been in that situation. One night a pack of them followed us home, yelling about how much better we'd be once they were done. The cops chased them off, but my poor girl was completely terrified.
Fine upstanding Christians like Peacemaker, those boys. Just helping God with our corruption and depravity.

For someone who hadn't been through what I have, I suppose. There's nothing left to be done to me that I haven't already overcome, so I go straight to fury. I had to get her safe first, though, and then she insisted on letting the cops deal with them.
