I mean, granted, I changed my definition of the word 'perfect' to "whatever I am at the moment", but technically speaking..
Understand that this is a mindset that has been used against women's rights, minority rights, non-Christians, and here relevantly with queers and trans people.
"It" has been used not only to include presumed sins or conditions, but people. Love the sinner, hate the sin, is difficult to compartmentalize when the sin itself is part of a persons very identity and humanity.

I have really poor judgement, so if you were so weak as to care what I thought about you, then I would have a low opinion of you indeed!

... and that's exactly why I find your beliefs utterly reprehensible. I think the above argument applies to your religion far more than it has ever applied or will ever apply to homosexuality.

I am positive this is true. But I also know that our ancestors thought Saber-Toothed Tigers were perfectly good creatures when they weren't biting open our throats. Or in short; "I'm a great person when I'm not being a dick".

No prob, after our last conversation on the subject I started to do some soul searching including a lot or reading from Christian sources as well as conversations with a few pastors. I came to the conclusion that my position on female submission was an error. I'm a lot happier for it too. I feel like I can love a woman so much more completely
