Why do some Atheists say Christianity is harmful?

And what happens to that happiness when one can no longer have sex? That time comes for everyone

As i said it changed my life. Hubby has had prostate cancer, following surgery and radiotherapy he is no longer able to gain erection. We still live a happy life.

And I've said before your proselytizing and preaching to me is a waste of your time, if you can't put together a good argument yourself then don't bother.

Scientific evidence is not really non-belief.

Falsification is everything where evidence is concerned
There is scientific evidence that the body dies, but there is no scientific evidence that the soul dies.
Falsification is everything where evidence is concerned. ;)

Not all religions do that, only Christianity. The idea of sin comes from Christianity.
'Amongst them were those who failed in their duty towards God, followed their own desires, and trod the path of lust and wickedness.'

Since sin is defined as transgression against God I would view that as pretty explicitly identifying lust as a sin in Baha'i faith.

If you were saying sin is not a Baha'i concept;
'What sin hath kept the inmates of the city of Thy names so far from Thine all-glorious Horizon, and deprived them of access to Thy most great Ocean?'

All you need is love.
He repeatedly said that atheists have no morals, and no meaning to their lives. In what he posts, he presents his beliefs as if they are objective truths. I was reminding him that they are not.

I don't think we will have a problem with the OP anymore. This is what I saw when I clicked on the profile of Melchizedek99:

Sex changed my life too, but not necessarily in a positive way.

I was only sharing. I was not proselytizing and preaching, not any more than you were proselytizing and preaching for sex.

So as long as you preface it with "my opinion," making a false or misleading statement is okay?
I said: Most people on this thread don't seem to think it is okay for you to have your own opinions.
In my opinion, this is true.

It is only your opinion that my opinion is false or misleading, but even if it was I still have a right to my opinion.
Are all the opinions people share here necessarily true?

I consider it to be a dangerous opinion and another reason to call out and shun his preferred Christian beliefs. If he believes that he can say something as appalling and unacceptable as that and not receive any backlash for it, then he is gravely mistaken. I think a heinous remark like that deserves pushback.
Not sure about the shunning part, but I agree the view deserves push-back, although i would point out the view that homosexuality is bad for society seems to be shared by @Trailblazer
