How so? Especially if it's the only significant thing at that point.

LOL.

Because you're not me, silly. Silliness abounds.
*does the dance of me*

*Narrator; as he finishes spatulaing his brains off the ceiling, Quagmire suddenly realises that trying to use his brain to put his brain back together is going to be tricky.*

1. I realized my own insignificance.

But you are NOT insignificant! The oceans are made up of EACH & EVERY raindrop. If one considers each to be insignificant, there would be no ocean.

2. That is also insignificant.

Nothing is insignificant to Truth.

3. Your beliefs are just as important as mine.

'Beliefs' are not really important at all, for, by definition, they may be true or false. It is KNOWLEDGE (Gnosis) which IS important, for, by definition, genuine Knowledge cannot be false!

Peace & Love :)

I adopted my religion because I figured; if I'm going to be posting on a site called Religious Forums, I should probably have a religion, and all the good ones were already taken.

Why do you believe in your Religion? Could you please explain what you believe about your Religion?
because my religion goes hand in hand with science. it feeds my soul and my logic.

What happens if I do not believe in the way you do?
life goes on. i dont care if you dont believe the way i do. it doesnt make any difference. what matters is what i believe not what you believe.

By that comment, it appears you belief is at the opposite end of universalism.

Any, and all, BELIEFS are totally futile. Only genuine KNOWLEDGE (Gnosis) is of any value. Yes, we are all entitled to our beliefs, and it really doesn't matter at all what we believe, for beliefs mean absolutely nothing.

Peace & Love :)

All in all even more screaming elitism than John Calvin at his best.

some knowledge are meant for you alone ... you are not obliged to put that belief (knowledge) on others, tho you can.

Why was it an abyss?

I am convinced that I exist. So after that my next question was; Why do I exists?

When I started to strip away the "whys" I realize how insignificant that I am (can get very depressing).

Question after question after question after question after question after question after question after question after question after question after question after question after question after question after question after question after question after question after question after question after question after question after question after question after question after question after question after question after question after question after question after question after question after question after question after question after question after question after question after question after question...... (the abyss)

"Why do I exist?" It took a long time but I did find an answer.

But that's the irony of atheism, life without the infinte is finite and meaningless. So, why don't you believe in God?
