Why doesn't the Bible condemn cannibalism?

Does the Bible condemn human cannibalism?

  • YES! The Bible unequivocally indicates that cannibalism is against God's Will (OBJECTIVELY evil).

  • NO! The Bible fails to condemn cannibalism. But that doesn't mean it's not OBJECTIVELY evil.

  • NO. The Bible does not to condemn cannibalism because it is not against God's Will.

  • NO. And any attempt to condemn cannibalism must appeal to extra-biblical sources.

So there is a greater truth that we are all part of which one should seek, perceived in the mind, and then a subjective truth that one perceives in the mind. Two elements, one greater and one lesser. One higher and one lower. One objective, and one subjective... Both in the same human's individual mind.
Nope. That's not what I said.

Of course, "one's own mind" isn't objective -- it's subjective.

Sounds a lot like "the greater light to rule the day" and "the lesser light to rule the night."
Sounds a lot like the sun and the moon.
Sounds a lot like the higher mind (God) and the lower mind.(ones own)
Sounds a lot like Adam(higher mind/conscious) and Eve(lower mind/subconscious)
Sounds a lot like the wife submitting(subjecting) to her husband.
Sounds a lot like the subjective submitting to the objective.
Sounds a lot like the serpent (ones own subjective, thinking mind) needing defeated.
Sounds a lot the individuals created reality and truth (Eve-mother of all living)
Sounds a lot like Adam being in a deep sleep and conceiving Cain and being in the land of Nod (dead-separated from God) because he was given a woman(ones own mind)
Sounds a lot like a divine marriage when the higher mind and the lower mind become one and whole.
Sounds a lot like Joshua making the sun and the moon stand "still" and murdering/conquering his own emotions, thoughts, fears, his own individual created reality of truth(ones own mind)
Sounds a lot like "ones own mind" is the devil that needs defeated.
Sounds a lot like a divine marriage between God and self.
Sounds a lot like the divine marriage of spiritual and physical aspects of mankind.
Sounds a lot like "knowledge" of good and evil in the brain/mind finding "life."
Sounds a lot like "truth and life"
Sounds a lot like "ones own mind" letting their emotion, thoughts, desires getting the best of them and ruling them.
Sounds a lot like "ones own mind-self" needs brought down from ones own throne. (Ego/pride/reputation)
Sounds a lot like the wife/Eve/bride of Christ needs to subject to God(husbandry)
Sounds a lot like the Lord is looking for a prudent wife(us) to dwell in.
Sounds a lot like this transformation only occurs "within" our heads where we experience God due to repentance(change of "mind")
Sounds a lot like Christ defeating the devil and being crucified at the place of the skull.
Sounds a lot like the twelve nerves around the tabernacle(brain) all reuniting and becoming one.
Sounds a lot like a lot of beautiful spirit beneath the scripture.

Or, it sounds less like new-age hooey and more like understanding that, when we read the texts, we bring our own biases and limitations with us, so we have to be careful not to read those into the texts, such as you'e done.

Or one can defeat "ones own mind" and allow the spirit within to teach texts written by the spirit because without defeat of ourselves and our own knowledge, we will be just that... Biased and limited. It's called surrendering ones own life and knowledge and wisdom to God.
Which I have done sounds like it's "objective" and applies to every single human, and what all humans have in common, and I don't bring my own understanding or testify of myself. Whether one receives that or not, the choice is theirs in "ones own subjective mind."

Or one can define God with their limited and biased understanding as a raging, egotistical child murderer and teach others alike.

Better yet, since one is biased and limited... What business do they have anointing themselves and teaching others lies, and worse yet... Lies and definitions about God? Why not just read the texts and not give their own biased and limited interpretation? Why not just shut up if one doesn't know? Is taming the tongue that difficult?
I now see why there are hundreds of thousands of religions and thousands upon thousands of different denominations segmenting from the same foundation of religion and one thinking they are right and others wrong. It's called "ones own subjective mind" It's called "divide." A kingdom divided against itself cannot stand. In any way shape or form. God is no respector of persons and his kingdom is spiritually objective.

Are they scared their ego and reputation and own mind will crumble? Are they scared they'll have to work hard for a living instead of fleecing naive and subjective people for tithe money from all of their lies?
Are they scared that their wives won't be below them any longer because they have to lie about God?
Mostly, it's just a bunch of vain lies, one foot in the world, and one foot thinking they're doing the will of God.
It's called weak "excuse" and the deceiver has a hold on the world. Blind lead the blind.

Again: WTF?? I don't have the foggiest idea where this rant came from. Sounds like you're less interested in what others think than you are in what you think you think. Which is patently not the Christian way. Jesus gathered disciples and taught them. And then commissioned them to teach others.

You tell me -- yours is certainly wagging vapidly at this point...

Sounds like more JW hooey now.

And suddenly the "Kumbahyah approach" you displayed earlier takes a back seat to the fangs coming out. I've succeeded in drawing you out and exposing you.

Good!

Religious hooey. People wrote the texts, and it takes people to teach them.

I call B.S.

More like people under divine influence were inspired to write them, and it takes people under divine influence(ones mind subjected to the Spirit) to teach them in truth and spirit, and not wolves and hypocrites and deceivers. (Ones own subjective mind that is biased and limited to understanding.)

Call it what you will, you have said so.
Ones own mind gets defensive, emotional, and egotistical when they are confronted with what they don't want to hear (truth) because they are in ones own animal mind still.

Ego won't let go. (Battle in the head)

I'd have to observe that your posts have certainly become defensive, emotional, and egotistical when I've confronted them.

I apologize if you viewed this as directed from me to you, it's directed at all of the ones in ones own mind.

The "Christian" way is ones own mind. Should be to be Christ-like and walk as he walked. I'll convert to the Christian church building way when you find me one human who has walked like Christ walked in a Christian church building.

The Christian way is in building authentic community with others and divesting oneself of one's riches in favor of the other. I'll be waiting to see you be received, because there are plenty of people who walk that walk within the buildings.
