Birds, blood, thumbs, and toes, I for one am glad we have moved on from that and know today that there are many blood-born pathogens and the tiny cracks and splits around the nails of our fingers and toes are a very good way to contract those pathogens.
A symbolic ritual whereby Jehovah did the healing. It wasn't a "cure".

I'm going to link you to Leviticus 14:2-52. I'm going to expect an apology from you to them, as well.

Leviticus 14:2-52(NIV)

And now, I will list the steps themselves;

Get two birds. Kill one. Dip the live bird in the blood of the dead one. Sprinkle the blood on the leper seven times, and then let the blood-soaked bird fly away. Next find a lamb and kill it. Wipe some of its blood on the patient’s right ear, thumb, and big toe. Sprinkle seven times with oil and wipe some of the oil on his right ear, thumb and big toe. Repeat. Finally find another pair of birds. Kill one and dip the live bird in the dead bird’s blood. Wipe some blood on the patient’s right ear, thumb, and big toe. Sprinkle the house with blood 7 times.
I'm a bit confused.

Leviticus 14:2-52New International Version (NIV)

Says:
2 “These are the regulations for any diseased person at the time of their ceremonial cleansing, when they are brought to the priest: 3 The priest is to go outside the camp and examine them. If they have been healed of their defiling skin disease, a the priest shall order that two live clean birds and some cedar wood, scarlet yarn and hyssop be brought for the person to be cleansed.

Although the beginning of the verse refers to "any diseased person," the past tense in red indicates they've already been healed, so what's the purpose of the priest going through all the machinations described. here?

It would take a little research, but there are scriptures that do specifically say that the genitalia of men and women are to be used for copulating, and any other use is termed abhorrent and unclean, and unnatural. I will look for them.
Please note that your superstitious taboos apply only to you and your coreligionists, and not to anyone else. No-one else cares what is in some old book written by ignorant savages.

I do not know. I hadn't noticed this before, so I went back and read it in Hebrew and it still says (largely) the same thing. The wording is inconsistent, sometimes referring to "one who is to be cleansed" and others as "one who is cleansed".

So actually, God does care a whole lot about the law, correct? Whether or not it is conducted in a modern court is totally irrelevant, correct?
It was Israel he cared a whole lot about, at the time. The law covenant was ended in the first century. Jesus taught us to obey the secular authorities.

If he doesn't care about secular authorities, why mention them?
If we DISOBEY the secular authorities, do you think it will go well for us? Usually not. In telling us to obey them, we will have fewer problems in our lives than if we were constantly being jailed and/or fined for infractions. It's good advice for anyone. Or do you disagree with that?

That's one interpretation, certainly, which still tends to show he cares.

Guess Christians need to obey new laws on LGBT protections.

All need to obey the laws on the books wherever they are, not just Christendom, which isn't Christianity. Christianity isn't a religion, and religions claiming to be Christian do so falsely. Christendom is all religions claiming to be Christian.

Giving advice is one thing, but demanding that someone else behave the way we think they should is wrong. If someone from Christendom goes after someone who is LGBT because they don't behave the way that someone thinks, then they've probably broken a law. It's not their place to damand anything of others. It would be like someone who is LGBT demanding that others become as they are. That too would be wrong.

The law covenant was ended in the first century.

You are invited to explain how your assertion dovetails with the following scripture:

"For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished." ~ Matthew 5:18

It's difficult to understand how the Law was ended in the first century if Jesus is saying that none of it shall disappear until heaven and earth pass away.

Let the spinning commence!

Luke 5:18 Truly I say to you that sooner would heaven and earth pass away than for one smallest letter or one stroke of a letter to pass away from the Law until all things take place.
The "all things" has taken place. The KJV version is incorrectly translated.
