I think I have little problems with that except.... when you said 'feminine' I take it you meant 'feminist'.

Wrong.

I mean 'feminine'. It means I have a soft, gentle demeanor, I have a nurturing personality, I'm not driven by testosterone, I'm generally submissive in personality, etc.

I.e., I'm feminine. It's WHY I'm feminist.

To me that is a new quite strange thing to hear. It shows we are under the feminine spirit of the world now.
No, we're not, and such a thing is not the goal. That's why we're feminists.

The God and Goddess should lie together as equals, not one on top of the other.

So I learn one thing new, men can be seen as feminists. That to me is very strange, since feminist went to break up the family (their words not mine) and kill babies because they want a job so they are not controlled by men.

Strange. I'm a male feminist and do want to break up the family, kill babies, and have women maintain their economic independence.

Who knew, huh?

Isn't it great that by being civil, you can illuminate things for someone?
Some could learn from you.

Hopefully not the only reason?

I am a male feminist, but that does not entail me being under a feminine spirit, nor does it entail me breaking up families or killing children. Your views on feminism are so far removed from my point of view, I have no idea where to begin a discussion. Perhaps, we can take it one point at a time, perhaps discussion is pointless, I am not sure. But, lest you think your worldview is unchallenged, I am posting here.

If only u knew me in RL. Perhaps, that would be enough.

You being a male feminist means what? It sounds very strange to me, what does it entail, shooting yourself in the foot.

I have to say that some of the comments here make me feel at little bit nausea. Is there no men in the west now then with a back bone, or none here. It seems that we would prefer for 'mummy' to make the decisions so we don't have to-- that is what happens when you follow the Goddess and not the God. The only way to the FATHER is through the son, not the mother.

It entails reflective thinking and critical analysis of my actions and society through myriad female lenses- if that makes sense.

If not, then simply understanding another perspective should suffice.

While my embracing the label is a personal journey (sorry for the cliche), my beliefs and worldview is such that I have advocated and do advocate for women's rights where I see disparity.

I have not shot myself in the foot; I do not hate men; nor would you describe me as "feminine" if you met me.

I am quite capable of making my own decisions, I have had to do so since I was a child. Your ad hominem is noted though. While your concept that a feminist man is somehow less than a man is not a new one, I think you should carefully consider your rhetoric as it rings more like an emotional outburst.

*edit* Oh, and I have no idea of what goddess you speak.

What then are you promoting for women; give me examples

As there seems to be problems posting links on this site unless you have read the entire post, satisfying yourself with the contents, then I can only point everyone at someone of interest (I do not know if I agree with all his views as I do not know them all) called Warren Farell. You will find him on a popular site starting with "W" and sounding a bit "iki". He seems to be saying that there was no problem with power before as we had roles as genders, but now we don't, and we fight therefore for the same position, there is now a problem with power between men and women because we fight for the same thing. I shall say no more
