Why Would an Omnipotent God Want Worshipers?

I can't prove one of them is any more than you can prove one of them ain't..

Is it possible to have a square-circle? No--- the definition of both "square" and "circle" means that such a construct is impossible.

Is it possible to have an All-Good being who creates evil-- or even permits evil to exist within it's power-base?

No-- the existence of evil ANYWHERE within in such a being's ability to banish it-- means it is either NOT all-powerful (and therefore, it the evil might win) or it is NOT ALL GOOD-- it is tainted by evil.

That describes the bible's god very well: Tainted by Evil.

But the bible says it's god is "all good"-- therefore? The bible's god can not exist as described.

There is no need for faith here--- just logical consequences of the bible's words.

"Evidence" I think you need to re-evaluate the meaning of the word. It does not mean what you think it means.

If you think anything the TOE presents as evidence, you are the one who needs to re-evaluate the meaning of the word.

Agreed-- which is why I remove ALL faith from thinking processes. ALL faith. Not just what YOU think it means, either...

You accept by faith alone, whatever the TOE says.

You are the one who does not understand "evidence."

Perhaps the question is why would people not want to worship an omnipotent God. People need God much more than God needs people.

Really? People need god? Prove it: I, for one, have no such need. In fact, there are entire countries who's majority populations have discovered that they are much better off without gods....

Liar. Why do you lie in such obvious-to-prove ways?

Here--- pages and PAGES of evidence-- which you are deathly afraid to read!

God created the definitions for both. It is foolishness to think God is going to violate a principle He created.

God did not create evil. He allows it to show what godless men are capable of.

How did evil come into existence?

An errant human, judging God. How amusing.

You are not qualified to determine if evil in the world negates the existence of God.

You are also not qualified to be the final judge on what is logical.

If you don't have the intellect to discuss a subject without being insulting, go back to the playground. If you have to cross a street, be sure to look both ways as your mommy told you to.

If you lack the computer skills to press a LINK which PROVES how evolution works?

Go back to your lifeless cloister and sneeze on your dusty (unread) bible.

Once more-- proves you are a liar:

False. Logic does not require magic.

Logically-- a god CAN NOT BE ALL-GOOD, and permit EVIL.

The definition proves, logically, that "ALL GOOD" means no evil.

The very act of allowing evil? Is evil.

Therefore, either your god is NOT all good? And has evil? (and therefore your bible LIED)

Or your god does not exist.

"god created math"? Oh. My.... that is FUNNY!

Prove it: Show me actual MATH in the bible!

LOL! You can't-- so your claim is a flat lie.

Easy
God's number is 1---God is one
Man's number is 6---created on the 6th day.
7 symbolizes spiritual completion---the explanation is beyond your ability to understand
Man without God is not spiritually complete.
6+1, man with God is spiritually complete.

The anti-Christ's number is 666. None of Satan's unholy Trinity is spiritually complete.

No man without God is spiritually complete, but with God he is.

Worship is not for God's benefit as he has need of nothing, it is for our benefit.

Let me ask. Since its for our benefit, those of us who do not believe out of no knowledge or choice and happy where we are, what disadvantage of our not worshiping do we have? How can you tell we are at a disadvantage for not worshiping? Should our choice to worship, if not gods will, be counted against us (that would be ironic)?

No we dont. If we make the calls wouldnt we know what is best for our spiritual wellbeing?

If god only knows, why wouldnt He want us to worship him not the other way around?

It would be more than ironic it would be ridiculous. Why would one celebrate something or someone without identifying with ones belief? It would simply be hypocritical.

God did not create evil. He allows it to show what godless men are capable of.

God created light and darkness. (Isaiah 45:7, Lamentations 3:38, and punishment for sin) He created everything. Man created nothing.

Are you saying man created evil and that this evil so harmful that even god cant be around it thereby making us eternally punished?

Why cant you accept god made ALL he laws of nature that includes both light and darkness. If we created sin, we would be likened to god since sin is opposed to god and nothing man creates should be at gods equal, right?

God created the definitions for both. It is foolishness to think God is going to violate a principle He created.

By creating man with freedom of choice he already has.

A parent would never put her child in a play pen with a snake and expect that child not to be harmed all because she was TOLD to not touch the snake.

Being told does not do anything. Getting rid of the problem prevents any chance that child would be hurt.

Letting us have free will is like letting us be around dangerous snakes and god expecting not to touch the snakes as if mere words will alleviate our problem of being around them.

Scripture does not provide relief of the problem but just comforts the believer until god finally takes him out of problem he put him in in the first place.

How can man cause a problem that even god can only alleviate by punishment of the individual rather than taking out the cause rather than the victim?

True. If people need god then what benefit from this need they will get if they dont identify with the belief believers feel they need?
