Why would somebody willingly become a Satanist?

A number of the atheists on this forum are simply hecklers of the people of diverse faith in the mission statement being particularly critical and endlessly argumentative with Christian’s. They get off on mocking Christians as stupid and uneducated.

Not so. I have seen attempts to educate people, but outright heckling is more often done by the Christians when they do not like reality.

Why do Satanists believe that Satan is better in their view to God?
Why do many, but not all, Satanists get absurd amounts of tattoos and piercings? Is it just a style choice or a meaning behind it?
From the limited interactions with Satanists I've had, they have this attitude where they believe it is okay to hurt others because they were hurt by someone else. How do they justify that and where does this attitude come from?

They do it for power and all that comes with power. They are typically very affluent and successful and are upstanding citizens of their communities.

But that is a ruse.

They have all the characteristics of a psychopath without being a psychopath.

No, I said they practice their religion in secret and that they crave power which they think Satan will provide for them.

The details I gave you were typical profiles of how Satanist’s have been described by some that have known them and even some of the satanists themselves after giving up their religion.

This power they crave is for personal gain typically, not for global domination. Even Satan can’t achieve that.

Exactly. Only people can achieve self empowerment. No one need employ Satan or utilize Satanism. It can be useful to younger or the lesser experienced Satanist to gain some perspective, however.

These devil worshippers were long gone, but I knew they were summoning minions of hell because the smell that lingered in their wake was truly foul. I still haven't figured out what the point of all the pizza was, but I'm sure they used it in their summoning rituals

It's not tacky. I'm the real deal. I'm not in "extreme secrecy" about it. I also don't have the characteristics of a psychopath (seriously, even watching Schindler's List makes me sob uncontrollably because those were real people that happened to). I have worked with kids. But I don't crave power because that takes away from what I actually want in life, which is reigning in Hell than serving in Heaven. Gaining power requires a lot of kissing up to those with power. I'd WAY rather be a thorn in power's side than be power.

What "experts"? And you sink you case when you mention law enforcement. Law enforcement should have nothing more to do with Satanists than they should have to do with Christians. You just sank your own case.
