There were enough remnants of the Klan where I grew up that said behavior is all too familiar. All anyone has to do is follow the 4 or five steps back using the links to the posts, to see he was responding to a post that made a specific claim (@Wildswanderer) about the existence of a deity, and he leaped on it, and implied he sometimes wished that it were not true, so he could treat people badly and profit from immorality, that is literally what he said. Ironically implying atheists are immoral and profit from immorality, but ironically then making up all manner of false claims that I had demeaned the morality of theists, when I did nothing of the sort, you really have to laugh. Though by now it is what i have come to expect.
Not in the context of my post, it's not. That is a false claim.
There is no context where your claim is not false. Not in the context of my post, it's not.
He may or may not be making a claim. He might just be stating why *he believes* there is no point in living if there is no God. That is not a claim. It absolutely is about claims and evidence. Anybody speaking on the subject he is making a claim about the relationship between a god and the proverbial point.
God does not have a spirit like our spirit, God has the Holy Spirit.Hold on! You just upvoted @Trailblazer's post where she said that god does not have a spirit.
Make your mind up!
It is a claim. Prefixing "I believe" is just rhetoric and camouflage that people inject to dodge accountability for the impact of their beliefs. He may or may not be making a claim. He might just be stating why *he believes* there is no point in living if there is no God. That is not a claim.
Believers are not accountable to anyone but God for their beliefs, they are only accountable for their actions. It is a claim. Prefixing "I believe" is just rhetoric and camouflage that people inject to dodge accountability for the impact of their beliefs.

Nonbelievers are accountable to their societies, cultures, subcultures, organizations, families and individuals around them. All of a nonbelievers actions are an expression of their non-beliefs.Believers are accountable to their societies, cultures, subcultures, organizations, families and individuals around them. Especially to the all of ones from which they reap benefits and take resources. All of a believers actions are an expression of their beliefs.

The only point I was making is that it cuts both ways, so nonbelievers are just as accountable as believers.Well. Yes.
I have no idea what your point is. Did you think that I would disagree? Did you think that you were cleverly turning the tables on me?
Do you even understand the words of mine that you are quoting?
Your point is to tell me a position that I already held before you said it. The only person in this conversation who is denying accountability to other people is you, @TrailblazerThe only point I was making is that it cuts both ways, so nonbelievers are just as accountable as believers.
Show me where I ever denied accountability to other people.Your point is to tell me a position that I already held before you said it. The only person in this conversation who is denying accountability to other people is you, @Trailblazer
You go show me that you didn't.Show me where I ever denied accountability to other people.
I cannot show you what I never said. You go show me that you didn't.
What claim? Are you seeing things again?I cannot show you what I never said.
You are the one making the claim that I denied accountability so you are the one responsible for providing evidence.
By not quoting religious dogma, by not using explanations that require belief in certain claims. What do you mean by non dogmatic terms?
So god is a spirit. Like a ghost?Well, God is a Spirit who took on a body. We are bodies and spirits both.
