And you don't think college aged women don't often have to look at some random people as threats? How often do they get blamed for being sexually attacked or harassed? (Should have been more careful, more wary, dressed more conservatively, etc.)It has a much different and more profound effect on you when you start looking at any random person as a potential threat.
Have you spoken to women about the prevalence of sexual harassment, getting groped, etc? I've found that there is a large percentage of men who are totally clueless as to how prevalent it is.And I don't have to tell this to people who have been attacked. They already know this.
