Your God is Not God

If sin and the law are always with The God and God is the beginning and the end then it follows that sin and the law are the end also. Does that leave believers with no hope of ever being free of sin?
No, of course not.

This world is not the first. Neither shall it be the last.

Every world is born and begins it struggle against sin, but that struggle eventually ends the inhabitants thereof become free from both sin and death.

The works of God are great and innumerable.
You @Prestor John can say Habbakuk was wrong and I can say Zechariah was wrong. Perhaps Zechariah knew the wrong version of Proverbs 6:16. :D
I was not the one who claimed that Habukkuk was wrong.

It was the Lord in Habakkuk 2 that claimed that he was wrong to lament.

The Rabbi commentary for Zechariah 8:17 reads,

"And let no one think evil of his neighbors: He warned them concerning hatred without cause, which brought about the destruction of the Second Temple."
.
I believe that is what it means. Good! Thank you.

It is not what is in most Bibles.

New International Version
do not plot evil against each other, and do not love to swear falsely. I hate all this," declares the LORD.

New Living Translation
Don't scheme against each other. Stop your love of telling lies that you swear are the truth. I hate all these things, says the LORD."

English Standard Version
do not devise evil in your hearts against one another, and love no false oath, for all these things I hate, declares the LORD.”

New American Standard Bible
'Also let none of you devise evil in your heart against another, and do not love perjury; for all these are what I hate,' declares the LORD."

King James Bible
And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith the LORD.

Holman Christian Standard Bible
Do not plot evil in your hearts against your neighbor, and do not love perjury, for I hate all this"--this is the LORD's declaration.

International Standard Version
don't plot evil in your heart against a neighbor, and don't tolerate false testimonies, because I hate all these things,' declares the LORD."

NET Bible
Do not plan evil in your hearts against one another. Do not favor a false oath--these are all things that I hate,' says the LORD."

New Heart English Bible
and let none of you devise evil in your hearts against his neighbor, and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate," says the LORD.

GOD'S WORD® Translation
Don't even think of doing evil to each other. Don't enjoy false testimony. I hate all these things, declares the LORD.

JPS Tanakh 1917
and let none of you devise evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath; for all these are things that I hate, saith the LORD.'

New American Standard 1977
‘Also let none of you devise evil in your heart against another, and do not love perjury; for all these are what I hate,’ declares the LORD.”

Jubilee Bible 2000
and let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, said the LORD.

King James 2000 Bible
And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbor; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, says the LORD.

American King James Version
And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbor; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, said the LORD.

American Standard Version
and let none of you devise evil in your hearts against his neighbor; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith Jehovah.

Douay-Rheims Bible
And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his friend: and love not a false oath: for all these are the things that I hate, saith the Lord.

Darby Bible Translation
and let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are [things] that I hate, saith Jehovah.

English Revised Version
and let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith the LORD.

Webster's Bible Translation
And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbor; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith the LORD.

World English Bible
and let none of you devise evil in your hearts against his neighbor, and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate," says Yahweh.

Young's Literal Translation
And each the evil of his neighbour ye do not devise in your heart, And a false oath ye do not love, For all these are things that I have hated, An affirmation of Jehovah.'

Sin has no end. That is laughable coming from someone who thinks he is a Jesus believer.
You and I will be free of sin after the passing of this world.

Yet sin still abounds in every mortal world that the Lord has created, is creating and ever will create.

It is only when the world passing away and all the inhabitants thereon are judged that they become free of sin.

LOL. Will you please listen to yourself?

There is God. With God has always been the law and sin. Then you say the inhabitants become free from both sin and death. How can a person be with God where sin resides and be free of it?

How nice! But you see that to be free of sin, which is always with God, according to you, you will be free of God also.

I think that to be free of God is something I am working very hard to avoid.

I never said that sin was with God or that God Himself sins.

There was never been a time where God was not creating mortal worlds and populating them with His children.

His work will never cease.

No, sin only dwells in mortality. I only dwells within time.

There is no sin with God. He is pure and holy. Without sin.

In my imagination, I see God alone. Am I wrong? I agree with you that flesh sins. Every mortal person sins. I imagine that before the creation, there were no mortals. When there were no mortals there was no sin. You say there always was sin.

God does not change. He has always hated sin and sinful behavior.

God and His Law have always existed, therefore sin has always existed.

Sin has always existed.

God and His Law have always existed, since no one else can claim to be perfect sin must also always have existed.

These things had no beginning.

OurCreed

There is no God but Allah
The statement makes no sense since we aren't given a standard definition of what God actually is or supposed to be.

See, again, people should actually read the Bible if they want to critique it.

I do not see God alone. I see as the Father of a divine family, of which you and I are apart. We are His children.

The creation of this world was not the creation of all things. There have been mortal worlds created before this world, which our Father filled with others of His children.

Those children went through the same experiences of mortality as we are, which include sin.

There has always been created mortal worlds peopled by God's children.

Yup. And He did them all a favor by bringing them homes before their awful parents could corrupt them more.

Oh he did them a favor by killing them huh? Interesting. well the truth is int he scripture you posted, he says that he hates those who kills innocents when he himself killed innocents, that makes God a liar and a hypocrite.

God does favors by killing everyone off huh, that's some God you worship, hes a war God. Its all about war and hate.

Yup. The Egyptians were wicked idolatrous slave-owners and those in Sodom and Gomorrah were even worse. The entire planet was covered in violence before the Flood waters came.

Better to remove those little children from play before those wicked societies corrupted them too much to be saved.

No, it doesn't.

We mortals have no right to take the life of an innocent, because we don't know all things, but God does know all things and can bring us home whenever He thinks it is best.

Sometimes. Sure.

He actually does describe Himself as a God of war, at least once. He is our commander and He has organized us to fight against sin. We are taught to hate sin. That is true.

This life is a constant battle and if you don't fight in it you will lose.

So God can what he wants because he knows better and we should do as he says not as he does. Your God is a jerk. That's a really shocking post. No thanks, your God is not my God.

Well, it would be impossible for you to do what He does.

He knows all things, yes, and He is the Judge of all, but He also gave His all and suffered all so that His children can return to Him.
Your God is a jerk.
If it weren't for our God you would not be here having this conversation.

Our God made it possible for us to overcome all things.

Yes, He takes some of us home early, but He does it to spare us from more hardship.
That's a really shocking post. No thanks, your God is not my God.
You don't even know what you are talking about.

I know all I need to know, Ive read the bible inside out. Just because you think your version is the only right version of Christianity and the bible; It doesn't mean others don't have the same knowledge as you do.

I was a member of the United Pentecostal church for 9 years. I've read it. My version of your Christian God isn't the same as yours, its called a different interpretation. We actually all have our own.

Annoucing to us that we have no knowledge of your religion because we don't agree, that we are ignorant, and announcing your God as the only God is pretty shocking behavior. But its typical of someone serving a tyrant war God.

No, I made my comment about you not knowing the Bible because you claimed that God commanded the "Jews" to slaughter people when He never did. He commanded the "Israelites" to do that.

The Bible also does not mention God commanding the "Christians" to kill pagans.

You don't know enough about the Bible to judge it.
