In addition to being trite, this ignores the fact that many--if not most--of the Founding Fathers were deists rather than Christians as such....

Pure hubris on the part of the artist.

I have a question for Mormons.

Is Mary the Tree of Life?

That is the impression I got when reading some Mormon material.

The one on Jesus' shirt/toga thing.
Oh, OK.

From the McNaughton "One Nation Under God" symbolism webpage.
""The Tree of Life emblem on Christ's chest I designed to be filled with symbolism and it has many meanings. It represents the love of God and that He is the Messiah."

Yep, I also read that.

But when I read some of the texts, such as 1 Nephi 11, it appears to be saying the Virgin Mary is the Tree of Life.

This idea is very interesting as it traces way back into the Pagan past.

The Ever-Virgin, with a God, giving birth to the God-Son - fruit.

No. And I've never, ever heard anything remotely like that. May I ask what Mormon material led you to this conclusion?

I take it the Professor, M. Hollywood, the Politician, the Liberal news reporter, the Supreme court judge, the pregnant woman, and the Lawyer are mean't to represent the the "goats" on his left: Matthew 25:31-46 - The Sheep and the Goats -

Will now go vote for "Excuse me, I have to go vomit".
