Please concentrate.
You accused me of repeating false personal attacks with no evidence.
I asked you to identify, in the post in question, the "false personal attacks with no evidence".
Your response?
"I don’t believe you".
You have not answered my question. It's up above in bold red. Why...
Can I answer your question?
No, she/he is not playing silly fanfiction games.
Finish this sentence: “How things appear to me is not ……………………..
Your last sentence is, therefore, a strawman.
Here is what I said:
"Do you mean my claim that Soapy is your acolyte? If so, I am hoping that you will discern the truth of my claim for yourself. My advice is to get some sleep; it will clear your head. :)"
Please answer my question rather than running away.
Do you mean my claim that Soapy is your acolyte? If so, I am hoping that you will discern the truth of my claim for yourself. My advice is to get some sleep; it will clear your head. :)
Soapy 'follows' you in a certain way. I suggest it may help you to look back to his post just before my description of him as 'acolyte'.
And no, I am not 3rdAnglels' acolyte. We simply agree on your childish method of what you describe as 'debate'.
No confusion on my part. The post to which you were responding is to do with projection, not 'running away'.
SZ said: “Sorry, you do not understand what projecting is. Try again”.
Third Angel replied: Well that is not true. Others can also see it even if you cannot (see post # 1006 linked)
Ha! But as I say, how things appear to you often bear no resemblance to how things are. Just because you don't get the point doesn't mean it is not there to be 'got'.
You seem to be confused, SZ. The post to which you are responding is to do with projection, not 'running away'.
Have you heard of the tu quoque logical fallacy? :grinning:
You assume that a myth is without truth.
I, a believer, have no need to defend God. That would be ridiculous.
Adam thought he knew better than God. He was free to choose his way, rather than God’s.
Maybe because a world full of robots would be hellish.
(The devil probably does have freewill).
Sorry, you still do not understand. Why not? Because you are not paying attention.
Here's a clue: an acolyte does not necessarily agree with the beliefs of her/his 'leader'.
I don't. My friends and fellow Christians in my local church don't. But we don't live in American, of course.
Perhaps you meant to say 'some/many Christians'... ?
From my experience on this and other forums, it's non-Christians who do the cherry-picking, choose what suits whichever argument...
