America is Regressing into a Developing Nation for Most People

Yes. It can't stay like this forever. I hope it doesn't, anyway.

America is Regressing into a Developing Nation for Most People

I just hope America isn't doomed. The future of America seems to me like a ticking time bomb.

    Pluto is a planet again:

I was about to raise my pitchfork but the link makes a good argument about the definition of planets.

    Why God Does Not Think.

Fascinating thread! Though i do find flaws in your argument and will attempt to describe them. God is unlimited, but can be divided into parts. Let's say you take a chunk out of God, and it becomes a quarter of God. This cannot happen. Since God is unlimited, any piece of God would also become...

    The Form of God

I see God as having both form and being formless. God takes a human-like form and partakes in many pastimes for the purpose of helping his devotees fixate on him more easily than they could if he were only formless. :)

Here's Your Chance to Stump Sunstone!

Would you mind if i asked what that traumatic incident was? If talking about it depresses you, i won't nag you for it. Such an incident sounds very serious to me. And to lighten the mood a bit, i request a second question! If you existed in the Tolkien universe, what race (Elf, Man, Dwarf...

Another Three O'clock in the Morning Question

Actually, the big bang is just one of innumerable big bangs that have occurred, and will still occur in the future. So i'd say the universe is a seasoned veteran :D

Please Help Me Weed Out My Bad Opinions -- That is, my Inoffensive Ones.

I’d say you have the magnanimous quality of not rejecting opinions that may seem foreign to you, but then i remember that there are some people who would take offence to such a thing. Sorry pal :D

    Spiritual anthems.

Reminds me that being angry, stressed, or any negative emotion is due to thinking small-mindedly, meaning i only think of the now and revolve my ego around it. I could do so much better to myself and to others. The universe is so large and wonderous that all my problems look and feel so...

Multiculturalism vs. Cultural Appropriation - say what??

Clearly these people do not want multiculturalism and harmony but want every culture segregated.

    You are very lucky

Yes, i am very lucky, and these years have been a boon to me, even when i am struggling. Thank you for reminding me that. :praying:

Who on this Forum have you Developed an Improbable Admiration, Respect and/or Friendship for?

@Sunstone and @YmirGF have my significant respect. I find their opinions informed and enjoy the fact that their views differ, since i value different viewpoints on the same subject. @ratikala and @Sw.VandanaJoythi are no longer active on this forum, but their spiritual advice has helped me to...

    Forgiveness increases affection?

In my opinion yes. Forgiveness creates peace of mind to you and the offender, if he/she is remorseful about it. Grudges are to be avoided at all costs. They rot the mind with anger.
