    Atheist Business with Christian Customers.

I wouldn't hide it, but I also wouldn't just throw it out there whenever a customer came around. If people have an issue with me being an atheist, that's their issue. Even still, if your business has good products, most of the customers couldn't care less about what you believe.

Is religion making us all stupid ?

I don't necessarily follow you on that, though I do understand where you're coming from. While religion may still be a powerful force, it keeps screwing itself. The more it does that, the less followers it gains and the more docile and friendly it has to become.

Is religion making us all stupid ?

I think that due to the internet and various forms of media, we have a better understanding of how spread out human stupidity is. I also think that we are much less stupid as a whole than we have been in the past, albeit still fairly stupid.

Why do disbelieves hate the word disbelievers

I think it only bothers the more picky ones, I couldn't care less about what people call me. Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't kafir refer to those who aren't Muslim? I'm also fairly certain that atheism doesn't have a set doctrine.

Is there a solution to Islamic-extremism?

It's not as simple as I'm going to put it, but it's what I think would work due to historical themes. 1 - Completely stop the flow of money and resources to such countries. 2 - Wait for the people to get angry and force their government to change. There's also the US military, if they actually...

What would a reformed Islam look like?

Muslims by themselves wont be able reform their religion, it will have to be forced. Cut off the funding, supplies, and businesses tied to countries that side with Islam and see how fast change happens. Basic reform would look like modern Christianity, while in depth reform would involve...

    What is 'Islamophobia'?

Couldn't really find too many points I disagreed with, so i can't give much of a response. I am well aware of what a phobia is and what it means, but I'm also aware that any single term can change. Islamophobia isn't an actual phobia, that is a point to be made. It's a meaningless term...

    What is 'Islamophobia'?

Then I'll have to ask you to go out of your way to find a dictionary definition that defines Islamophobia as an "unreasonable fear." I gave my definition and provided source, your turn. Let's have a discussion. Edit: changed "irrational" to "unreasonable"

    What is 'Islamophobia'?

That's a medical sort of phobia, it's reasons for creation are much different than politically created phobias such as Islamophobia. Islamophobia Scroll down a page or two in that link and you'll see what I mean.

    What is 'Islamophobia'?

Meaningless term, at least in my book. Technically it refers to a 'dislike' of Islam or its adherents, but I feel more of a 'distaste', if that distinction matters.

Are arguments a type of evidence?

I think logical arguments are validated by evidence, or that the logic itself should validate the evidence presented in an argument. If you and your opponent have the same evidence for the same issue that is being discussed, it comes down to who makes a more logical argument based around that...

Does religion cause problems or supress it to the world?

You don't know my parents, you would not say this if you did. I'm not some edgy teenager with imaginary family issues that I myself am the cause of. They hate me, the love of a parent towards their child does not exist between us in any way at all. They did what they thought their religion...

Does religion cause problems or supress it to the world?

I don't like my parents because they are too religious, I see them as flesh conduits for their fundamentalism. If I wasn't biologically related to them, I wouldn't even call them my parents. Takes too long to explain, and it doesn't really pertain to our discussion. As far as the cons go, they...

Does religion cause problems or supress it to the world?

And sometimes the tree is dying and only one apple is half-decent. How nice, I get to skip another minute in the shower. Great that part of my body got taken in exchange for that. I guess children can't use soap and shampoo anymore, what type of hygiene are you talking about exactly? Of...

Does religion cause problems or supress it to the world?

It's that I wasn't given a choice, and I would have chosen not to. I take huge issue with this. What benefit did i gain? I'm not seeing the benefit. Tell me what benefit I gained from this. What if the tradition were to gouge out the child's left eye? Take a pinky finger? Pierce the nose? Would...

Does religion cause problems or supress it to the world?

And I am one of them, it's one of many, many reason me and my parents don't get along. Genital mutilation, to me, is when someone has parts of their genitals cut away or removed. The biggest issue I have with it would be consent. It should never be done to babies or children, ever. Unless it...
