Is there a question in there somewhere? Because unless you are a christian and want to learn more about my faith, or ask me questions about what i have said here and we can discuss it, from a christian point of view, using the bible as at least the highest standard that you consider to be truth...
You blaspheme the HS by talking and acting contrary to what He says and does.
If the HS says A, and you say no the HS says B, then you are blaspheming the HS. That would mean, you are doing the unpordonable thing...acting and speaking in unbelief.
God is far more compassionate than we are, infact he has been patient with his objects of wrath.
And we are told:
22Be merciful to those who doubt; 23snatch others from the fire and save them; to others show mercy, mixed with fear--hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh.
Lets...
The bible from the OT times shows that god unconditionally elects a people for himself. He does this election not because of anything they did to deserve it, but simply to show his freedom to elect.
Whenever the bible talks about election, you will find phrases like, '' I knew you''...
Hi michael. Before jesus died on the cross he already forgave some people their sins. So im thinking that the dying on the cross was not exclusively to forgive sins, it was to be punished for it.
I think that jesus could forgive sin because he would be punished for it.
There is only one sin...
God is not boxed in by your opinion of what 'love' is or what 'god' is.
God said that he was love, not so that you can hang him up with it.
God does have compassion for the lost sinners. Compassion is part of who he is and so is justice. God's glory can be revealed by his compassion, his...
Hi michael. True, repentance is granted by god, it is not something we can do by ourselves.
Act 11:18
When they heard this, they had no further objections and praised God, saying, "So then, God has granted even the Gentiles repentance unto life."

I think it is useful to examine which sins god is willing to forgive us for (forgave us for) and which ones is a no go.
In the bible we have the account of Ananias who was struck dead after he lied to God
Acts 8:3Then Peter said, "Ananias, how is it that Satan has so filled your heart that...
Hi there. I'd like to ask you a question. What sins did god forgive us for? Was it the sins we committed against each other, or was it the sin we committed against him.
Listen cheese man, with all 'due' respect. I never said everybody else is wrong. I said ORTHODOX jews in my opinion if I had to wade throught the christians the cheese men and the GNOSTICS have PROBABLY got more of a clue about traditional JUDIASM than other.
Thanks for your time.

Hmmm....no i wouldnt think so...our mind is part of our soul. Our soul and spirit are two different things.
Our soul is our
1. Volition
2. Intellect
3. Emotions
All these things make up our soul. Dont really think that heaven is in our descisions, our IQ or our feelings.

Unless they wont. If there was scripture in the bible to show that in the lake of fire they will be 'washed' clean or 'burnt' clean i would believe it.

Heaven is the sons inheritance. Does a son not deserve an inheritance. He doesnt work for it sure...but does he deserve not to get it because he is a son? Let me show you who will NEVER inherit the kingdom
1 Cor 6:9
9Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not...
How convenient.
Christ does not have faith. Its really sad that you have to rely on 'mistranslations' to support your theology here. Try the rest of the bible that has not been mistranslated like
2 Cor 3:18
18And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being...
yeh...now sum this one up for me too....
Romans 9:22
22What if God, choosing to show his wrath and make his power known, bore with great patience the objects of his wrath--prepared for destruction? 23What if he did this to make the riches of his glory known to the objects of his mercy, whom he...
You are trying to be god and tell him when he should extend mercy.
WRONG, for those who believe in christ its their inheritance.
Wrong, mercy is extended when you repent.
Great, but now show me scripture in the NT that has nothing to do with ISRAEL, which you are conveniently forgetting...
God does not need faith to believe in himself. And god does not believe for you on your behalf.
He is the author and the finisher of our faith.
God cannot disown himself. The idea that god has faith borders on heresy. Because you are saying that god needs something to believe in himself...
And again, god does not need to show mercy to us when we are in heaven. Whatever for? Mercy is not getting what you do deserve. Can we in heaven do things that would require mercy?
God is everlasting and so his mercy is everlasting, its part of who he is, but no where does the bible say that...
The bible does not give any indication that without faith one can be saved.
When christ returns visibly to this earth, faith would cease to exist. You wont need faith then, because you would have seen him!
1 Peter 1:9 for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your...
