I suppose it can be both, depending on how you see it.
I see the cross as a symbol of love and what Jesus gave up for us. Yes, when you look into the cross actually meant - it's not the nicest symbol you could have, but it's at the very heart of Christianity.
Yet... there will always be people...
If people are against something, they will always bring it up.
If people know it is a controversial issue, they will always bring it up.
If people know it will annoy others, they will always bring it up.
In my opinion.. both. It depends on the religion.
Yes, Christianity has a pretty unsettled past - people will always bring that up. It is Jesus who changed that. He did not preach hatred and murder.
I don't know.
I hate the idea of them in some ways, as it's almost like preparing for the marriage to fail. I know some do, and when you see what can happen during divorce, you can understand why people have them.
It's something I have always said I wouldn't want.... But honestly, don't know.
My opinion has always changed on this topic. I think people need to be careful with the words they use. "Murder" is too emotive, and in my opinion no the right word to be used.
I don't believe it is murder until a baby is born. That is not to say I agree, or disagree with abortion, but it's not...
I've spoken to so many missionaries, and most of them have been very rude, which makes me change my mind about looking into the church further.
One of my friends from university has joined them, and since this time she never talks to anyone outside of the church.
I'm not saying that everyone...
