(For the record, the correct spelling is Baha'i. The apostrophe is important because it represents the transliteration of a <silent> letter that alters the pronunciation.)
Genuine Divine Messengers both renew religion and provide updated social teachings ideally apropos for the new Age...
We deliver!: :-) :-)
Isaiah 62
2 And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.
Isaiah 65
15 The Lord God ... shall call His servants by another...
They don't "have to!" and indeed, the Baha'i Faith recognizes ALL the great religions as legitimate and of God!
But you overlook the fact that that both the Jewish and Christian scriptures promise that the Spirit will have a new name!
Peace, :-)
Bruce
In fact it does, but only in a heavily veiled sense (in Revelation 11:3).
You can check page 95 of Riggs' The Apocalypse in the "Books" section here:

for the details.

For the simple reason that you're ENTIRELY IGNORING this clear statement in the Baha'i scriptures:
"37
Whoso layeth claim to a Revelation direct from God, ere the expiration of a full thousand years, such a man is assuredly a lying impostor. We pray God that He may graciously assist him to...
Then you are clearly unaware of this statement in the Baha'i scriptures:
"There can be no doubt whatever that the peoples of the world, of whatever race or religion, derive their inspiration from one heavenly Source, and are the subjects of one God. The difference between the ordinances under...
In fact, God has MANY names and titles in the various languages and cultures, and they are all equally acceptable!
Just a few of these names are: God, Boje, Jehovah, Dieu, Wankantanka, El, Jumala, Gott, Yahweh, Dios, Brahman, Elohim, Allah, Isten, Bog, Yazdan, Adonai, Parvadegar, and Huda...
Greetings, all!
Here is accurate information about the Baha'i view of all this, which I trust will be far MORE helpful than the anti-Baha'i site Farrukh so presumptiavely referred peple to!:
Muslims often interpret the Qur'an as stating that Muhammad, being the Seal of the Prophets, is the...
In addition to being trite, this ignores the fact that many--if not most--of the Founding Fathers were deists rather than Christians as such....
Pure hubris on the part of the artist.
Bruce
Then not having read them, you are in NO POSITION to make such a condemnation!!
Every hear of prejudice ("pre-judging")?
It happens to be one of the things the Baha'i Faith explicitly rejects, but I am afraid YOU are exhibiting it big time when you saly this given that your "belief"...
You overlook the fact that Baha'is seek no such power!
And that partisan poiltics is roundly condemned and always to be avoided.
So any such "prediction" about its future is pure hot air unsupported by facts, the more so given that the Baha'i scriptures include statements like these...
Oh, fear not:
SOME of us are well aware of its original meaning (and derivation) and use it to mean EXACTLY that!
(I should refer you to Riggs' Apocalypse Unsealed as an excellent example.)
Bruce
On the contrary:
That is EXACTLY what the word "apocalpyse" means--PRECISELY THE SAME MEANINGS as "revelation!"
Once again, look up the word "apocalypse" and note its original meaning.
And note I didn't include the added term "doom" which someone else mentioned.
Bruce
I would be most interested in seeing how you conclude that the Baha'i Faith is not peaceful, the more so given that:
waging war is expressly forbidden in the Baha'i scriptures, and
back when there was a draft, Baha'is were urged to apply for noncombatant status.
Not to mention that...
