Mat Staver: The “Q” in LGBTQ Stands for Pedophilia

LGBT is more of a culture than it is to designate anything. Notice how most people refer to it as the 'lgbt community'? I've known of a lot of gay men who have gone under a self imposed exile from that 'community', and good for them.

    Question for Theists

All of my life. I've never been anything else, even if I've pondered on the gods before.

    Dangers of meditation?

I did a sort of meditation/trance once to connect with my true self/highest self. I invoked the power of the planet Neptune and one my gods. Afterwords, I had a little time dissociating because of how intense it was.

Mat Staver: The “Q” in LGBTQ Stands for Pedophilia

Originally, it meant 'questioning' but has been commandeered to mean 'queer'. 'Queer' is meant to be...I'm not entirely sure. Like Saint Frankenstein said, there are many who want to protest assimilation, so anything gay related is labeled queer and anything in between(?). It's all a mess. Best...

    Life without Fascism

Interesting read. I don't agree with most fascism, but some ideas I do like.

Why don’t you go back where you came from?

This is more about the specific statement itself than the context, but this is a perfectly valid statement for someone who is complaining about a country they are not native to (historically, racially, ethnically, etc).

    Ungodly

There is a sense of impurity and impiety that must be avoided in polytheistic religions, but there isn’t much actual dogma.

    Who will get to heaven?

I’m a little lost, but there are many deities that are the actual heavens in many mythologies. Ouranos/Caelus, being the most famous. Takamagahara, or Ten, is the Japanese heavenly world.

    Open the boarders to Refugees

It's not our responsibility, to be frank. We should be hospitable to guests, naturally, but they aren't our responsibility in the end. I don't wish anyone harm, but there is a saying that goes 'We can't save everyone'. It's an unfortunate fact of life. Aid our allies in the ways that we can...

    Open the boarders to Refugees

Much of that is confined to ancient history, which should be well known in most academic circles. People belong in their racial and/or ethnic homelands, as that is their right to be there.

    Who will get to heaven?

Heaven, even as a concept, is in ever mythological cycle, as far as I know. It is not exclusive to Abrahamism.

    Open the boarders to Refugees

Repatriate many of the foreigners who do not belong there.

    Who will get to heaven?

The heroic and pious. Though heaven could be anything from Elysium to Tir na Nog and so on.

    Rama and Hercules

Heracles is not an incarnation of a deity. He is a demigod.

    Culture vs Religion

There is a direct relation with religion and culture, as they are one and the same (in the original sense). Hellenistic religion, Celtic religion, Shinto, Norse religion, Mesopotamian religions all produced their respective cultures. 'Revealed religions' came far after and displaced most of...

    Open the boarders to Refugees

This will only create, death, war, a race for resources, depletion of said resources, and an uncountable amount of other apocalypse scenarios.

Do you think your religion is the only true way

No. Many gods, many paths, many truths.

    Those that no faith wants

Impiety? At least that's one of the only things I think all religions (modern and ancient) have in common.
