    I'm not sure what you could mean by going home that doesn't refer to suicide. But, IMO, suicide is perfectly fine and perhaps even logical for you. It doesn't have to carry the negative connotations it so commonly does. We shouldn't fear death but should be perfectly happy to go at any point...

    Shouldn't one avoid ridicule, derision, criticism, embarrassment, etc. by ensuring they're well educated about that which they speak on?     If your only agenda is modesty. Modesty is, of course, valued in intellectual circles. I don't think aiming low is a great general philosophy to have, however.

    I don't think we could define it as "pure information". Pure data might be closer to the mark but I still think there's no benefit to thinking of the world in this manner.
