A question for creationists

Me Myself

except that the physical evidence is clear that the universe is NOT eternal.

Somebody already answer that actually:

there is a lot of speculation surrounding what came before the big bang...

ans what is the so called clear evidence anyways? I haven´t seen you put a single source about it.

so far, Universe might still be eternal.

According to Scripture, energy's force existed before the material universe came into existence.
Isaiah [40v26] mentions God's active strength and power.
God supplied the needed abundant dynamic energy used to create.
-Psalm 104v30
And this theory can be tested how?

except that the physical evidence is clear that the universe is NOT eternal.

but of course that fact is too inconvenient for many to accept....so they keep searching for something they will never find.
If something has existed for all time, wouldn't that make it eternal?

Because it goes against the laws of God.

The Laws of God exist because they do.

Please note that this is exactly the same line of reasoning the Evolutionists take, namely: Life and Evolution occur due to the Laws of Physics.

Where is the evidence that the Laws of Physics created themselves?
Perhaps you can tell us what the Gods laws of God concerning the universe are, being as no one mentioned them in the bible.

it seems some religions are with you on that idea.
Some years back, priests at the Vatican Observatory had come to the conclusion that God also created extraterrestrials because the universe is simply too large for us to be alone in. So they sent the New Testament into space as an encoded message. Its a whole new field of adherents :D

Photosynthesis needs cell walls within which the process can safely take place, and the continuation of the process requires cell reproduction... so these things must have taken place simultaneously which again spells 'direction' imho

They have already shown how cell walls could form and how that would work and its pretty simple. If its direction again its a very weird direction and not really the quickest direction.

Which is the reason? to what I recall big bang states that there might have been a big crunch, and it might as well be cyclical big crunch and big bang for eternity, all of which would be with the same energy.

They have basically ruled out the big crunch, because current observations show the universe speeding up faster then light. Which keeps gravity from pulling it back in on itself.

The universe we observe today started in a completely different state. The big bang theory is just about the universe being very hot and dense in the past and has stretched iinto what we see today.

A static universe was ruled out back in the late 20's when Hubble discovered the universe is expanding.

Would you consider the law of gravity?
What goes up comes down.
Doesn't Jupiter's dense gravity protect earth from being hit by asteroids ?
Jupiter's gravitational pull draws harmful objects away from earth.

Psalm [102vs25-27] mentions: all waxing old like a garment.
We know everything wears down, or like clothes wears out.

Verse 26 continues with: as a vesture God will change them,
and they will be changed. Just like we change into new clothing.

Even when earth's mountains wear down, new ones, like through volcanic action, appear.
The polluted earth is resilient and bounces back when left on its own.

Because God is eternal [verse 27] God can sustain earth as promised in Scripture that the earth abides forever.
Look:
according to Psalm [115v16 B] The earth God has given to us. [earthling man]

[Ecclesiastes 1v4 B; Psalms 78v69 B; 93v1 B; 96v10; 1st Chron. 16v30]

Consider the following from part of the opening post:

Agnostic75 said:
If an eternally existing God is a reasonable possibility, why isn't eternally existing energy in a naturalistic universe also a reasonble possibility?

Do any Christians have an answer for the question?

Absolutely. If a global occurred, the law of gravity indicates that lighter fossils and sediments would have to be sorted on top of heavier fossils and sediments, but in many parts of the world, heavier fossils and sediments are sorted on top of lighter fossils and sediments, thereby proving that a global flood violates the law of gravity. For more information about the sorting of fossils and sediments, please visit my thread on that topic at http://www.religiousforums.com/foru...6-global-flood-sorting-fossils-sediments.html.

'eternally existing God'...'eternally existing energy'...'in a naturalistic universe'...

According to Scripture God always existed and that could mean his energy [spirit] always existed.

The universe, according to Scripture, is a material creation that came into existence after the spirit world was created.
So, before the material world was created, the spirit [heavenly] realm was already in existence.

Does energy disappear or just change ?

If the volume of water pressure could have affected mountains being pushed up from the seas or visa versa couldn't that indicate fossil shifting?

Hundreds of flood legends or stories have been discovered throughout the earth in nearly all nations and tribes. Common to the legends is that few survived water destruction.

There was never that much water ever on the planet

The weight would not push mountains up from the sea

Tectonic plates pushing sideways forces mountains up

because it floods everywhere on the planet at some time or another as man started with agriculture they had to live near water

No sorry. I would like to, really I would, but I can't.

I was querying what Gods Laws were that would not allow for this:

God did it is not a logical response. Do you have any logical or rational idea for believing so?

No lol - That is a mistake.

I asked which scientific laws

heheh!
