A Universe from Nothing?

One could ascribe the Big Bang to space aliens as easily as God.

If you're going to dismiss the Big Bang hypothesis you really should be familiar with the physics involved. People argue it makes no sense -- welcome to modern cosmology. Lots of things in physics seem utterly incredible, but they're true.

How could aliens exist without space? Or, couldn't we call a god "alien"?

They're transdimensional aliens.;)
How can God exist without space? For that matter, where did He come from?

" set in motion ".....initialization.......given forward momentum
normally caused by some various opposing vectorial motion starters !

Just kidding....but you already know that !

I don't get the controversy.
Both sides agree on a universe created from nothing, but one posits an unknown mechanism, whilst the other an invisible "creator."
The controversy is about mechanism vs magic, not the fact of creation ex nihilo.

The controversy is that theists push their cause outside of everything the mechanism is still subject to; timeless, immaterial, etc.. It is nothing more than special pleading.

I say to you that there was no first creation...the universe did not have a beginning... If you disagree...please explain what was the cause of the beginning?

No they do not.

The scientific side has never claimed that.

They claim a singularity expanded.

Are black holes nothing to you? they are singularities as well

A universe emerging from, or a product of, no thing; from a gravitational singularity, An inflation from a point where there was no universe, nothing, not even time.
"First," no thing, then expansion and condensation into a universe of stuff.

That, to Joe Sixpack, is pretty much indistinguishable from creatio ex nihilo.

So let me cut to the chase Valjean......what caused the singularity?

a = undefined article
universe = one that is all....absolute existence
nothing = no universe....absolute non-existence
